If you want a versatile, universal mount that secures your dash cam behind the rearview mirror for clear visibility and bumpy road stability, choose SPGICRM Dash Cam Mount; if you need a precise speaker adapter to install aftermarket tweeters into specific Toyota, Subaru, or Lexus factory dash locations, choose zenoruslky 1.5.
These two products sit in completely different categories of automotive accessories. One is a mechanical mounting solution for recording devices, while the other is a specialized audio component adapter for vehicle interiors. Comparing them directly requires understanding that they solve entirely distinct problems for drivers who are upgrading their vehicles. The SPGICRM unit is designed for the driver's safety and equipment security, whereas the zenoruslky rings are engineered for acoustic performance and fitment within specific Japanese and American chassis. If you are looking to equip your vehicle for a hunting trip where reliable recording of the trail is essential, the SPGICRM mount provides the necessary rigidity. Conversely, if your goal is to upgrade the sound system of your truck for those long drives through the woods, the zenoruslky kit offers the structural bridge needed for custom audio. You must align your purchase with your actual hardware needs, as swapping these items would result in zero utility.
• SPGICRM Dash Cam Mount: Its biggest strength is the inclusion of 16 different ball joint connectors ensuring compatibility with almost any dash cam brand on the market, from APEMAN to Vantrue. The trade-off is that it requires sufficient space behind your rearview mirror and a stem length of at least 0.40 inches to function correctly. This pick is for anyone needing a secure, non-obstructive way to mount a camera behind their mirror.
• zenoruslky 1.5: Its biggest strength is its targeted design for fitting standard 1.5-inch aftermarket tweeters into specific factory dash locations without major modifications. The trade-off is its extreme specificity; it only works with a narrow list of Toyota, Lexus, Scion, and Subaru models and does not include screws in the package. This pick is for car enthusiasts building custom audio setups in compatible vehicles.
• Who each pick is for: Choose SPGICRM for safety and recording; choose zenoruslky for high-fidelity audio upgrades in specific JDM or domestic trucks.
The SPGICRM Dash Cam Mount is built around the concept of universal adaptability. With 16 different sizes of ball joint connectors included in the kit, this product aims to eliminate the frustration of finding a mount that fits your specific camera model. Whether you own an older APEMAN unit, a newer Vantrue, or something from Rexing or Falcon, the extensive range of connectors suggests a design philosophy centered on flexibility. This is crucial for drivers who might switch cameras later or who bought a used device and need a reliable housing. The ball-joint mechanism itself allows for 360-degree adjustment, meaning you can twist the mount up, down, left, right, or tilt it to find the perfect angle. This level of control ensures that the camera captures the road ahead without being fixed in a suboptimal position.
Safety is a primary driver in the design of this mount. By attaching securely behind the rearview mirror, the camera remains hidden from the front view of the driver. The manufacturer emphasizes that this setup does not obstruct your view at all, which is a critical factor for maintaining focus on the road. In real-world driving scenarios, having a camera hanging loosely in the windshield can be distracting and dangerous. This clamp-on design solves that by tucking the device away. Furthermore, the kit comes with screws of different lengths and nuts to accommodate mirror stems of varying diameters. This attention to detail suggests a robust installation that stays firmly in place even during bumpy rides, sharp turns, or sudden braking events.

This product is ideal for the daily commuter who wants peace of mind or the adventurer heading out for a hunting trip. When you are driving through remote areas, having a dash cam mounted securely behind the mirror means you have a record of your journey without compromising your ability to spot wildlife or navigate tricky terrain. However, potential buyers should note the spatial requirement. There must be sufficient room behind the rearview mirror, and the cylindrical rod must be at least 0.40 inches long. If your mirror stem is too short or the mirror assembly is too bulky, this mount will not attach properly. It is also worth noting that the physical dimensions of the unit are compact, measuring roughly 2.15 by 1.62 inches, making it unobtrusive once installed.
The zenoruslky 1.5 Tweeter Speaker Adapter Mounts serve a very specific purpose: bridging the gap between factory dash layouts and aftermarket audio components. These adapters are designed to securely fit standard 1.5-inch tweeters into factory front dash locations. The engineering here focuses on precision fitment rather than universal application. The adapter rings measure an outer diameter of 4.37 inches and 2.8 inches, with an inner diameter of 1.57 inches and a height of just 0.15 inches. These tight tolerances indicate that the product is meant to slot perfectly into pre-existing holes, minimizing the need for cutting or drilling.
The list of compatible vehicles is extensive but exclusive. It covers a wide range of Toyota models from 2005 to 2023, including the Avalon, Highlander, Sienna, Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra, and Prius. It also extends to Lexus vehicles like the CT 200H, RX series, LS, and RC series, as well as Subaru models like the Crosstrek, Forester, Impreza, Legacy, Outback, and WRX. If your vehicle falls into one of these buckets, this kit allows you to install high-quality aftermarket tweeters without major modifications. The pre-drilled screw holes facilitate easy alignment, which speeds up the installation process significantly compared to fabricating custom brackets.
Stability is another key feature of this product. The solid speaker adapters create a secure mounting base that helps reduce vibration and rattling. In a car audio context, vibration can ruin sound quality, introducing unwanted noise that masks the clarity of the music. By keeping the tweeter firmly positioned, the zenoruslky kit ensures clearer sound performance. However, there are significant constraints. The package includes only the plastic dash speaker spacers; no screws are provided. Buyers must source their own fasteners, which adds a step to the process. Additionally, the manufacturer notes that listed vehicles may require minor adjustments or additional drilling due to production variations. This product is strictly for DIY audio enthusiasts who know their vehicle's factory specifications and are willing to do the legwork to achieve a premium sound stage. It is not a plug-and-play solution for everyone, but for those with the right car, it is a vital component for a custom build.

I would buy the SPGICRM Dash Cam Mount if my priority was equipping my vehicle for a hunting trip. The ability to secure a camera behind the mirror without blocking my view is non-negotiable when driving through unknown terrain. The 16 connectors provide a safety net that the zenoruslky kit simply cannot offer because it is so narrowly focused on audio hardware. While the zenoruslky 1.5 is likely excellent for a dedicated car audio enthusiast with a compatible vehicle, it has no relevance to recording or safety. For a general buyer looking to protect their investment and document their travels, the SPGICRM mount offers a broader utility and a more robust physical solution. I recommend the SPGICRM for its practicality and peace of mind.
Installation is generally straightforward thanks to the clamp-on design and included screws for various stem sizes, provided your mirror stem is at least 0.40 inches long and there is enough space behind the mirror.
No, the packing list specifies that the kit includes only the two plastic dash speaker spacers; you will need to source your own screws for the installation.
It is compatible with most models on the market including APEMAN, Vantrue, and Rexing due to the 16 different connector sizes, but you must verify that your camera's mounting interface matches one of the included joints.
No, these adapters are specifically dimensioned for Toyota, Subaru, and Lexus factory dash locations; using them in a different vehicle would likely result in a poor fit requiring significant modification.
