As a hospice music therapist, Salem brings professional insight and personal experiences with grief to create narratives that explore difficult topics. Whether it's fantasy or contemporary, you can find themes of loss, trauma recovery, and resilience woven into tales of romance. Though Salem enjoys escaping into books as much as the next reader, she believes that sometimes we need to see characters like ourselves—complicated, imperfect, and a little messy—facing down the same struggles and finding a way forward despite the odds. 

Salem lives on the Gulf Coast with her husband and their three beloved cats.
