Spell Duel Privacy Policy

Spell Duel is a pixel fantasy card game by BST Studios. This Privacy Policy explains what information Spell Duel may collect, how that information is used, and how players can request deletion of online game data.
Information We Collect
Spell Duel may store gameplay information locally on your device, including settings, unlocks, custom spellbooks, dablooms, campaign progress, and other game progress.
If you use online PvP, Spell Duel may collect and store:
Your chosen in-game username.
A generated guest player ID.
Online matchmaking and queue status.
Match records needed to run duels.
Ranked wins, losses, rank progress, dablooms, and leaderboard information.
Spell Duel does not require players to provide real names, addresses, phone numbers, or sensitive personal information. Players should not use real names or sensitive information as usernames.
How We Use Information
We use game information to:
Save local progress and settings.
Run online matchmaking and PvP duels.
Show usernames in online duels.
Track ranked progress and dablooms.
Display leaderboard standings.
Improve game balance, stability, and player experience.
Third-Party Services
Spell Duel uses Supabase to support online PvP, matchmaking, player records, and leaderboard features.
Spell Duel may link to Stripe payment pages for optional web purchases or donations where available. Payment information is handled by Stripe and is not stored inside Spell Duel.
If Google Play Billing is added in the future, purchase processing will be handled through Google Play.
Ads and Advertising ID
Spell Duel does not currently use third-party advertising SDKs and does not use the Google Advertising ID.
If ads are added in a future version, this policy and the Google Play data safety information will be updated.
Permissions
Spell Duel may request basic permissions needed for normal app operation, internet access, sound playback, and gameplay features. Spell Duel does not require microphone recording.
Children
Spell Duel is not directed to children under 13. Players should not enter personal or sensitive information as usernames.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local game data remains on your device unless you delete the app or clear app data.
Online PvP and leaderboard data may be retained as long as needed to provide online features, prevent abuse, maintain leaderboards, and support ranked play.
To request deletion of online PvP profile or leaderboard data, contact BST Studios through the developer contact email listed on the Spell Duel Google Play Store listing. Include your in-game username and explain that you are requesting deletion of Spell Duel online game data.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect game data, but no online service can guarantee complete security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Spell Duel changes, when new features are added, or when legal or platform requirements change. The updated date at the top of this policy shows when it was last changed.
