Range: The Maluku Islands (Including Banda Islands, Tanimbar Islands, Kai Islands, and Aru Islands), Raja Ampat Islands (Salawati and Misool). Also occurs in Papua (New Guinea), including offshore islands such as the Yapen Islands, Biak Islands, the Bismarck Archipelago, D'Entrecasteaux Islands, Trobriand Islands,  and the Rossel Island.
