Range: Mainland Europe (From the Iberian Peninsula to the Balkans and Ukraine), Great Britain, Mediterranean Islands (Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Crete, Cyprus, and the Greek Islands as well as other smaller islands), western Türkiye, and along the Atlas Mountains in the Maghreb, winters in western and central Africa
