A. c. chukar: Eastern Afghanistan, Pakistan, northern India, and Nepal
A. c. cypriotes: Thrace, parts of Turkey, northern Syria, as well as Cyprus and the Greek Islands, including the Dodecanese and Crete
A. c. dzungarica: Northwestern Mongolia to the Altai range and eastern Tibetan Plateau
A. c. falki: North-central Afghanistan to the Pamir Mountains and Xinjiang
A. c. kleini: Northern Greece through Bulgaria, into northern Turkey to the Caucasus
A. c. koroviakovi: Eastern Iran to parts of Pakistan
A. c. kurdestanica: Parts of the Caucasus to Iran
A. c. pallescens: Northeastern Afghanistan to Ladakh and western Tibet
A. c. pallida: Northwestern China
