Sparrow Wallet
Effective date: August 6, 2026
Last updated: August 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ironwing Digital (“Ironwing Digital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Sparrow Wallet mobile application (the “App”).
The App is a self-custody Bitcoin wallet interface. You control your wallet credentials and authorize transactions on your device.
This policy applies only to the Ironwing Digital-operated App. Sparrow and its associated organizations are independent third parties and do not control Ironwing Digital’s privacy practices unless expressly stated otherwise.
The App may process public Bitcoin addresses, wallet balances, unspent transaction outputs (UTXOs), transaction history, fee estimates, transaction requests, and transaction status.
Wallet addresses and completed blockchain transactions are public by nature and may be visible to anyone through the relevant blockchain.
Private keys and recovery phrases are created or imported on your device and are not transmitted in readable form.
The App may create an encrypted recovery copy to support wallet restoration. That copy is encrypted before transmission.
Ironwing Digital does not receive the recovery phrase or private key in readable form and cannot use the encrypted copy to access or move your assets.
When the App communicates with blockchain nodes, pricing services, swap infrastructure, or other necessary network services, those services may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, request time, wallet address included in a request, network selection, and basic request metadata.
This information is necessary to return balances, prices, quotes, fee estimates, or transaction status.
The App does not require your name, postal address, phone contacts, precise location, photos, messages, or advertising profile for its core wallet functions.
The App does not contain advertising and is not designed to track you across unrelated apps or websites.
Information is handled only as needed to:
Create, import, connect, display, and restore wallets.
Retrieve public balances and transaction history.
Provide Bitcoin market information and network-fee estimates.
Prepare, submit, and monitor transactions that you authorize.
Provide security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain the App.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Ironwing Digital does not take custody of your digital assets.
Transactions must be authorized using your device’s security controls. Once submitted, blockchain transactions are generally permanent and cannot be changed, reversed, or deleted by Ironwing Digital.
Public blockchains are independent networks. Information written to them—including wallet addresses, transaction amounts, token contracts where applicable, timestamps, and transaction identifiers—may remain publicly accessible indefinitely.
This public blockchain information is outside Ironwing Digital’s control.
The App may communicate with third-party infrastructure to provide its functions.
Depending on the selected feature, this may include Bitcoin nodes, Electrum or other Bitcoin infrastructure selected by the App or user, public Bitcoin network services, fee-estimation services, and market-data providers.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Their handling of information is not controlled by this Privacy Policy.
The official third-party references listed at the end of this document describe those providers’ own services and practices.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Information may be transmitted to service providers only when required to deliver a feature you request, secure and operate the App, or comply with law.
A wallet address or transaction submitted to a blockchain becomes public blockchain data and should not be treated as private.
Wallet credentials stored by the App are protected using device security and encryption mechanisms.
Network communications are protected in transit where supported by the destination service.
No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your device, recovery phrase, passcode, and any recovery credentials.
Locally stored App information remains on your device until you remove it, delete the wallet from the App, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App.
Encrypted recovery information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide restoration functionality, satisfy legitimate security needs, or meet legal obligations.
You may stop future App processing by removing wallets, clearing local App data, or uninstalling the App.
You may request deletion of information controlled by Ironwing Digital by contacting thmtn9914@gmail.com.
We may need enough information to locate and verify the relevant record.
Never send us a recovery phrase or private key.
Ironwing Digital cannot delete or alter information already published to a public blockchain and cannot delete information controlled independently by third-party providers.
Blockchain and infrastructure providers may operate in multiple countries.
As a result, requests and public blockchain data may be processed outside your country of residence, subject to the safeguards and laws applicable to the relevant provider.
The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children.
We do not knowingly request personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review the matter.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices.
We will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law.
