We are thrilled to announce an exciting addition to our SparkNC family! Please join us in welcoming Victoria (Tori Sparks) Sylvestre, the newly appointed SparkLab Leader of Chatham County.

Tori’s recent hire as SparkLab Leader in Chatham County marks a significant milestone for SparkNC, a transformative initiative aimed at propelling learner progress along pathways to careers in cutting-edge high-tech fields. The new SparkLab will be stationed centrally at Chatham’s Center for Innovation, which is well known for empowering Chatham’s learners to reach new heights. With her passion for innovation and expertise in various disciplines, we are confident that Tori will be a driving force in fostering the next generation of tech trailblazers in fields including artificial intelligence and machine learning, esports, software development, computer systems engineering, and cybersecurity. 

Tori is a current student within the MEITE (Masters of Educational Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship) program at UNC Chapel Hill. With her visionary approach and dedication to excellence, we are excited to witness the positive impact the SparkLab will make on the aspiring minds of Chatham County, and the vast potential that will be unlocked under her guidance. 

The SparkLab program welcomes participation from all high school students within Chatham County. Together with SparkNC, Chatham County can shape a brighter future for aspiring tech enthusiasts and open doors to unparalleled opportunities, fostering a culture of innovation that reverberates far beyond the walls of the Chatham Center for Innovation campus, building a foundation for the pioneers of tomorrow.
