When you register as a User or Merchant , we collect:

i) Identity Data: Full Name, Last Name.
ii) Contact Data:  Email address, Phone number.
iii) Authentication Data:  Encrypted passwords.

B. Merchant Specific Data

If you register as a Merchant (Shop Owner), we collect additional verification documents to ensure the legitimacy of the shop:

i) Business Details:  Shop Name, Industrial Area, Business Type.
ii) Verification Documents:  Images or PDFs of your Trade License, National ID (CNIC), and Shop Front Photos.

C. Location Data

We collect your device's geolocation (Latitude and Longitude) to:

i) Display "Shops Near You."
ii) Calculate the distance between you and the spare part shops.
iii) Provide directions to shops via external map applications (Google Maps).
iv) Note: You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, but some features (like "Near You") will not function properly.

D. Device and Usage Data

i) Camera and Photo Library: We request access to your camera and gallery to allow you to upload profile pictures or (for Merchants) shop verification documents.
ii) Notifications: We request permission to send you push notifications regarding reviews, account status updates, or app announcements.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. We use the information to:

i) Create and manage your account.
ii) Verify Merchant identities and approve valid shops.
iii) Display shops based on your current location.
iv) Enable the "Review" system (allowing users to rate shops).
v) Notify users to leave reviews after visiting a shop.
vi) Prevent fraudulent transactions and theft.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following situations:

i) Service Providers:  We may share data with third-party vendors (e.g., Cloudinary for image hosting, Google Maps API for location services) who perform services for us.
ii) By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others.

4. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information.

i) Passwords are hashed using Bcrypt.
ii) API communication is secured via HTTPS.
iii) Authentication is managed via JWT (JSON Web Tokens).

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal data. You may do so by contacting us at the email below. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account, shops (if applicable), and associated data from our active databases.
