¬°Bienvenidos! The Spanish Cineclub is a venue for the Purchase community to get together to watch and discuss great films from all over the Spanish-speaking world. It is open to everyone, and particularly aimed at Spanish language learners and students of the Language and Culture and Film and Media programs. Movies are screened with English subtitles, so prior knowledge of Spanish is not required.

The Spanish Cineclub is conceived as multidisciplinary and embraces diversity. We collaborate with the Multicultural Center and often host special screenings as part of campus-wide initiatives (e.g. LGBT History Month and Days of Action and Dialogue).

Meetings are every other Wednesday at 7pm at Fort Awesome 0138. The upcoming meetings can be checked in the calendar and flyers below. If you want to be up-to-date about upcoming events, you can join our mailing list below. You can also RSVP for our meetings on this website.

The main organizer is Prof. Alfredo García Pardo from the Language and Culture Program. If you have any questions, you can contact him at Alfredo.Garciapardo@purchase.edu, or directly at the group's email address: spanishcineclub@gmail.com.
