Terms of Use

By inviting and using SpamGuard, you agree to the following terms:

Required Permissions

To function correctly, SpamGuard must be granted all permissions requested during the invite process. Removing required permissions may cause features to stop working or prevent the bot from protecting your server.

Role Position

SpamGuard's role must be placed above the roles of members that may be moderated (muted, kicked, or banned). If the bot's role is below a user's highest role, Discord will prevent SpamGuard from taking moderation actions against that user.

Administrator Responsibility

Server administrators are responsible for:

• Configuring SpamGuard correctly.

• Keeping the required permissions enabled.

• Ensuring the bot's role remains high enough in the role hierarchy.

Limitations

SpamGuard can only perform actions that Discord allows based on its permissions and role position. The developers are not responsible for moderation failures caused by missing permissions, incorrect role placement, or Discord API limitations.
