This page is used to inform app visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal and Non-Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service (the MGuard app).

The Personal and Non-Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.


The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal data or personal information that can be used to identify you (“Personal Data”, or “data” or “information”) for a better experience. We may also collect Personal Data automatically, from third-party partners or services. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy. We collect some information from you when you provide it to us directly, such as via an email or through another form of inquiry. This information may include your name, email, and phone number.

When you download and use our Service, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use, operating system, resolution, application version, mobile device identifiers (such as your device ID or advertising ID), language, time zone and IP address.

We collect information automatically about your activity through our Service (Usage Information), such as the date and time you used a service, features you have used, your in-app purchase history, subscriptions, your interaction with advertisements, and data generated when you use our Service.

When you download and use our Service, we automatically detect your general location, namely country and state through your IP address. We may collect, with your consent if applicable, other location information through your IP address, such as the city you are in. 

We may ask for access to your camera in case you want to use certain features of our Service.  In case you contact us and you can upload media or files as attachments. 

We may receive information about you from our third party service providers, who collect this information through our Service in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We may collect content from posts or uploads on social networks or platforms or direct contact, subject to your consent if applicable. Such content may include, your name, social media username, image, likeness, voice, other identifiable information available in such user generated content.

We and our third party advertising networks and their partners may use cookies and similar technologies, such as mobile “SDK”, to provide and personalize our Service and to provide targeted advertisements. Some of these technologies can synchronize behavior across different mobile apps, devices and websites so that advertisements can be tailored to your interests. This process is called personalized advertising. In addition, we and certain advertising networks may access your inventory of installed apps to avoid advertising already installed apps. If you'd like to opt-out from having advertisements personalized in this way on your Android device, please open device Settings, select Google, select Ads and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization".


The app does use Service Providers (third-party companies) that may collect information used to identify you. In addition to personal data, we may collect Non-Personal Information. Non-Personal Information is any information that relates to you but from which it is not practicable to directly or indirectly identify you, which may include the information about your devices (such as Your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information), the list of installed apps on your devices, and technical information about users means of connection to our apps, such as the versions of phone model and other similar information.


The list of installed apps on your devices helps to create lists of harmless applications and prevents security products from mistakenly identifying such applications as malicious. This data is also used to help us to offer users a security solution by Trustlook CloudSDK. Trustlook CloudSDK provides Android malware detection services based on Trustlook NGSE cloud service. It collects application data but not other data for antivirus purpose:

CloudSDK DOES NOT collect any personal information from the mobile devices, including username, password, email address, address, telephone number, contacts, text messages, fingerprint, photos, and videos etc.

CloudSDK DOES NOT collect any device information, including device name, manufacture, model, system version and device id etc.

CloudSDK collects the application data like package name, MD5 hash and signature information. CloudSDK uses them to determine if an application or APK file is a virus.


Trustlook will not sell, license, transmit or disclose this information outside of Trustlook and its affiliated companies unless (a) expressly authorized by you, (b) necessary to enable Trustlook contractors or agents to perform certain functions for us, or (c) required or permitted by law. In all cases, we will disclose the information consistent with applicable laws and regulations and we will require the recipient to protect the information and use it only for the purpose it was provided.


Trustlook has adopted and adheres to stringent security standards designed to protect non-public personal information at Trustlook.com against accidental or unauthorized access or disclosure. Among the safeguards that Trustlook has developed for this site are administrative, physical and technical barriers that together form a protective firewall around the information stored at this site. We periodically subject our site to simulated intrusion tests and have developed comprehensive disaster recovery plans.

The Antivirus engine is powered by Trustlook CloudSDK. Trustlook CloudSDK provides security service and it will record certain information that includes user's installed applications. Because it will analyze the app collection, app static & behavior analysis to give the app risk report. This SDK only collects information of scanned APK files, including but not limited to package name, signature, code version, hash, file names, size, activities, and services. Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.
