On Sunday, April 13th, S5 successfully lifted off on its first solo flight. This booster has a similar design to booster 3 but had corrective actions implemented after the Booster 2 Test flight in July of 2023 that couldn't be implemented before B3 flew, but we could work around it. This flight was a success with a full parachute deploy and soft touchdown! The catch pins were also installed prior to launch on this rocket also.

This booster is flew for its first time, and was successfully recovered after launch.
