A mock up villa at the ongoing Cityscapes development off Budigere cross road for Aratt developers, was a 3 BHK of ~2200 sft.
The unique bit about this design is that a large part of the furnitures, light fixtures, soft furnishing, artwork and accessories are from the IKEA store.
The minimal design is accentuated by artwork / accessories from IKEA and splashes of green landscape inside decorative planters.
The kitchen was done as a simple but pragmatic space, with rubber wood shelving and simple laminated shutters, a breakfast counter separates the kitchen as well as connects it to the rest of the space.
The dining space was conceptualized as a large minimal open area, something that a family would use at all times, a white marble table with pendant lights from IKEA and a backdrop wall full of artwork complete the ensemble
The open floor plan for the living/ dining and kitchen is clearly visible here, the entry experience is enhanced further by a lighting installation and a landscape insert.
The bedroom units are all planned on the first floor, as a breather between the private spaces there is a family room that was designed to accomodate a lounge and study. Simple and effective shelving, work surfaces and furniture pieces make this space.
