I am a Professor at the Applied Statistics Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata


My research interests are Game Theory (Non-cooperative,  Cooperative Games, Stochastic Games, Decision Theory, Evolutionary Games, Percolation Games, Combinatorial Games, Computational Games); Matching Theory; Social Choice Theory; Mechanism Design; Algebraic Graph Theory; Probability Theory (Percolation, Diffusion Process, Random Graphs, Ergodicity);  Stochastic Block Model, Bayesian Learning; Image Processing.



In 2024, I was honored with the Mahalanobis Memorial Medal by the Indian Econometric Society. Additionally, in the same year, I received the Social Choice and Welfare Award from the Society for Social Choice and Welfare, France. Earlier, in 2016, I was awarded the Professor M.J. Manohar Rao Award for Young Researchers by the Indian Econometric Society.
