Welcome to my academic webpage. I am an energy and environmental economist and lecturer in statistics and data science at the FHNW School of Business and a research affiliate at the Centre for Energy Economics and Policy, Center of Economic Research, ETH Zürich.

My research interests lie in energy and environmental economics with a focus on quantitative methods. Specifically, my publications have focused on evaluating the economic impact of energy policy instruments as well as estimating the responsiveness of consumers to energy price changes. I have also analysed the social impact of pollution on health. My current research includes evaluating behavioural interventions in plastic recycling and how individual preferences can aid the design of policies and institutions. I have been involved in projects analysing secondary data as well as conducting surveys and field experiments.

As well as collaborating with colleagues at other universities and universities of applied sciences, I also work with governmental agencies and private companies to analyse data, conduct surveys, and design interventions on topics of joint interest. Please feel free to contact me for potential collaboration on projects.

My current teaching focuses on statistics and quantitative methods as well as consumer decisions that affect sustainability. Previously, I have taught economics courses like microeconomics, environmental economics and data science/econometrics.
