The Macroeconomics Network in the Southwest Workshop is a leading academic workshop in macroeconomics for the universities of the Southwest (Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton, and Surrey). Its purpose is to create research ties, foster research collaborations and exchange feedback on cutting edge macroeconomic research.
The 6th edition of the Workshop is co-organized by Nikos Kokonas (University of Bath), Anastasios Karantounias (University of Surrey) and Arpad Abraham (University of Bristol). Many thanks to the Department of Economics at the University of Bath, the School of Social Sciences, Economics at the University of Surrey, and the School of Economics at the University of Bristol for co-sponsoring the event.
The workshop will take place on November 7rd at the University of Bath. It will focus on a variety of topics.
The keynote speaker is Jonathan Heathcote from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
