Free Watershed Watch Walk in Wapato Hills:
Saturday, November 7
10:00 to 11:30am
Guided neighborhood walk for residents to learn signs of pesticide use and stormwater runoff near their homes, and how that runoff reaches Flett Creek and eventually Puget Sound. Residents will learn how everyday yard care connects to the health of the creek and the salmon downstream. We'll also share simple pesticide-free tips they to use at home. It's open to everyone, and no experience is needed. The walk is supported by a grant from the Northwest Fund for the Environment.
