Southern Suburbs Chess Club is closed for the summer. We reopen on the 17th of February with a casual blitz tournament. Please check the Tournaments page for the schedule for 2026.

Southern Suburbs Chess Club is one of Perth's four Senior chess clubs.  Our past and present membership includes some of Perth's strongest  players, senior and junior.

We meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm at Bull Creek Community Centre, Corner of Hassell Crescent and Leichhardt St, Bull Creek WA 6149.

The club runs a range of ACF and FIDE rated tournaments throughout the year. Please see the Tournaments page for details. Games start at 7:30pm.

Visitors and new members are always welcome, although it may not be possible to enter a tournament on your first night as a tournament may be underway. It may be possible to play casual games with a club member or another visitor.
