Committees

We have several committees working throughout the school year on various projects! Being on a committee does not mean you have to volunteer, but we do provide the committee chair your contact information. Please e-mail us at sobocopta@gmail.com for more information or to volunteer on one of the committees. 

Boots and Bows Dance: PTA is the beneficiary for proceeds from the Boots and Bows Dance each year. We will need volunteers to help with any setup and tear down that is needed.

Events Committee: Helps organize and plan various kid and family events throughout the year, including Bingo in the fall, Game Night in the spring, and others as needed. 

Holiday Shop: PTA hosts a holiday "shop" where all students can pick out a gift for a loved one.  This committee helps gather & organize items, as well as staff the shop the week before Christmas to help students wrap gifts.

Moser's Receipts Committee: Moser's donates money back to PTA for receipts that we process, year-round. The committee chair organizes members to help with receipt pickups from Moser's and other locations, organization and processing, and then ultimately submitting summary back to Moser's for payment.

Spirit Wear: Help coordinate designs, disbursement, and marketing for Spirit Wear sales throughout the year. 

Teacher Appreciation: Help coordinate meals, treats, gifts etc for teachers and staff throughout the year. This includes Parent Teacher Conference Meals and Teacher Appreciation Week in May, and others as needed. 

Wish Lists: PTA provides up to $125 for qualifying staff funding requests.  Under direction from the committee chair chair, the committee gathers staff submission requests for PTA reimbursements, confirm guidelines are met, communicate with staff, then organize the requests so that PTA can reimburse each staff member for approved purchases.,
