2024 SEISA Conference Theme is "Movement, Disruptions, and Opportunities: Stories of Migration."

The cost to attend the conference is $50 for everyone, presenters, and attendees.
Undergraduate students with a college ID can attend at no cost. However, registration is still required to prepare accordingly.
The 2024 Call for Proposals was due January 31, 2024. Acceptances were sent sent by February 9.

SEISA was honored that Dr. Paul Ortiz, professor at the University of Florida and author of An African American and Latinx History of the United States, and Dr. Yolanda Chávez Leyva, the lead historian for the first-ever Bracero Museum (funded by the Mellon Foundation) slated to open in Socorro, Texas in 2024, delivered the keynotes.
