Sound Meter ("the App") is developed by Hampus Hellqvist. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.

The App measures sound levels using your device's microphone. All audio data is processed locally on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored remotely, or transmitted to any server.
Reading history (timestamps and dB levels) is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded or shared.

- Microphone: Required to measure ambient sound levels. Audio is processed in real time and never recorded or stored.
Third-Party Services

Data Storage
All app settings and reading history are stored locally on your device using shared preferences. No personal data is collected or transmitted to external servers.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13.
