HanbaeCompany ("we", "us", "our") operates the SoundlessCam mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

We do not collect any personal information that you actively provide (no sign-up, no name, email, phone number, etc.). The app collects only the following automatically:
An ADB RSA key/certificate generated by the app for Wireless Debugging pairing
Last paired host IP and pairing status (used internally)
User preferences (silent mode toggle state, notification on/off)
Google AdMob — Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, coarse device information, ad interaction data, used to deliver and measure advertising.
Google Analytics for Firebase — Pseudonymous usage events (screen views, feature usage, crash-free sessions), used to understand app usage and improve quality.
Google Play Services — Standard SDK telemetry as required by Google Play.
If the app crashes or encounters an error, automated diagnostic data may be collected: device IP, device name, OS version, app configuration, time of error, and stack traces. This is processed by Google services on our behalf.
The app shows ads via Google AdMob. Depending on your region:
EEA / UK / Switzerland: On first launch you will see a consent dialog via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can choose between personalized ads (using your data) or non-personalized ads (contextual only). You can change this choice anytime via the in-app "Privacy options" entry.
Other regions: Ads may be personalized by default. You can limit ad tracking via your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
To provide and maintain the Service (silent mode toggle, pairing helper)
To serve advertising (which funds the free-of-charge Service)
To analyze app usage and improve features
To detect and fix crashes and errors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): for personalized advertising and analytics where consent is given
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): for fraud prevention, security, and basic non-personalized advertising
Contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): for providing the Service you requested
Locally stored data: until you uninstall the app or clear data via Android Settings
AdMob/Analytics data: per Google's retention policies (typically up to 14 months for analytics events)
Log/crash data: typically up to 90 days
Google services may process data in the United States and other countries. Google complies with EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA/UK.
Under GDPR you have the right to:
Access your personal data
Request correction or deletion
Object to or restrict processing
Data portability
Withdraw consent at any time (via the in-app "Privacy options" entry)
Lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority
To exercise these rights, email hanbae.company@gmail.com. Note that since we do not store user-identifiable data on our own servers, most requests must be handled via Google directly (see their privacy policy).
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
Know what personal information is collected
Request deletion of your personal information
Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell, but advertising data may qualify as "sharing" under CCPA)
Non-discrimination for exercising these rights
Use the in-app "Privacy options" or contact us by email to exercise these rights.
You can reset or limit your Android Advertising ID at any time:
Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset advertising ID (or "Delete advertising ID" on Android 12+)
Alternatively, opt out of personalized ads through the in-app consent flow.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect any data, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. The most sensitive data (the ADB key) is stored only locally on your device and never transmitted to us.

The Service may contain links to other sites operated by third parties. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may also notify you in-app.
