This app is built to respect your privacy. We do not sell your personal data, and
your photos, media, and precise content stay on your device. This policy explains
the limited data the app uses.
This app is a general convenience and listening-assistance tool. It is not a medical
hearing aid and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or compensate for hearing loss.
Please consult a qualified healthcare professional for any hearing concern.
INFORMATION THE APP USES
- the microphone (with your permission) to amplify nearby sound in real time. Audio is processed live and passed straight to your headphones or speaker. It is NOT recorded, NOT stored, and NOT transmitted to us or any third party. The app does NOT use your location and does NOT use the camera.
- anonymous diagnostics and crash reports (via Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) to keep the app stable.
- an advertising identifier and related data used by Google AdMob to show ads. On iOS, the app asks for your permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before any tracking, and uses Google's UMP consent flow to honor GDPR/EEA choices. You can decline tracking and the app keeps working with non-personalized ads.
HOW IT IS USED
Microphone audio is amplified in real time on your device and is never written to disk
or sent anywhere. Your amplification and EQ settings are stored on your device only. We
use the data above only to provide the app's features, to keep the app stable, and
(with your consent) to show ads. We do not build advertising profiles ourselves and we
do not upload your photos, videos, audio, or files to our servers.
ADVERTISING IDENTIFIER & OPT-OUT
Google AdMob may use an advertising identifier to deliver and measure ads. You can
limit or reset this identifier in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy &
Security > Tracking and Apple Advertising; Android: Settings > Google > Ads), and you
can decline tracking to receive non-personalized ads.
DATA RETENTION & YOUR CONTROL
Settings and content you create are stored on your device and are removed when you
delete the app. You can revoke microphone or tracking permissions at any time in the
iOS Settings app; the app will continue to work with reduced features.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The app may use: Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) and Google AdMob (ads).
Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies:

CHILDREN
This app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal
information from children.
