This Privacy Policy applies to the Sorter Drop mobile application (the “Application”), provided by Paul Mendes-Flor (the “Service Provider”). The Application is provided on an “AS IS” basis.
The Application is designed to work primarily offline. When you install and use the Application, it may store the following information locally on your device to support gameplay and app functionality:
Game progress, including your best score and onboarding completion status;
Gameplay statistics, such as games played, items caught, mistakes, combos, and accuracy;
Achievements and daily challenge progress;
Your in-game collection of caught items;
App preferences, such as vibration (haptic feedback) settings.
This information is stored on your device using local storage (UserDefaults) and is not transmitted to the Service Provider or any third party by the Application.
The Application does not require you to create an account and does not ask for personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or payment details.
The Application does not collect precise location data from your device. Any references to “location” within the Application relate only to on-screen touch input used for gameplay (for example, moving the sorting platform).
Because the Application stores data locally and does not transmit it to external servers, the Service Provider does not routinely share user information with third parties.
Limited information may be disclosed only in the following cases:
As required by law, court order, or other legal process;
To protect rights, user safety, and prevent fraud or abuse;
If you voluntarily contact the Service Provider (for example, by email), in which case the information you provide may be used only to respond to your inquiry.
The Application does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or crash monitoring tools. No technical usage data is collected by the Service Provider through the Application itself.
If you contact the Service Provider by email, standard email service providers may process that communication in accordance with their own privacy policies.
You can stop the Application from storing further information on your device by:
Using the “Reset Progress” option in the Application’s Settings screen, which erases locally stored scores, achievements, collection data, and statistics; or
Uninstalling the Application using standard uninstall methods available on your device or through the app marketplace.
Uninstalling the Application will remove locally stored app data from your device, subject to your operating system’s data retention behavior.
Locally stored data is retained:
For as long as you keep the Application installed and continue using it; or
Until you reset your progress within the Application or uninstall the Application.
The Service Provider does not retain copies of your gameplay data on its own servers, because such data is not collected or uploaded by the Application.
If you contact the Service Provider directly, correspondence may be retained for a reasonable period as needed to respond to your request or comply with legal obligations.
The Application is not directed to children under 13 (or such other age as required by local law). The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Application or by contacting the Service Provider, please get in touch so that such data can be removed where applicable.
The Service Provider uses reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to protect any information you voluntarily provide (for example, via email). Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device’s operating system and security features. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The updated version becomes effective upon posting in the Application or on the relevant policy page. Continued use of the Application after updates means you accept the revised Policy.
