Sorted collects no data about you. None. Not your name, not your email, not your tasks, not your shopping lists, not your projects, not analytics, not crash reports.
Everything stays on your device. All your tasks, shopping items, projects and settings are stored only on your iPhone, in Sorted's local database. Nothing you enter ever leaves your device.
No accounts. Sorted has no login and no user accounts. There is nowhere for your information to go.
Permissions. Sorted only asks for:
Notifications for optional reminders (a morning heads-up if something is urgent, and an evening recap of what you finished), if you choose to turn them on.
Microphone and speech recognition only if you choose to add items by voice. Your speech is processed on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition and is never sent anywhere. You can use the app fully without ever granting this.
Widgets. The home screen and lock screen widgets read your list data directly on your device. Nothing is shared outside your phone.
iCloud Backup. If you have iCloud Backup turned on in your iPhone settings, Apple may include Sorted's local data in your encrypted device backup. Sorted has no access to it, and you can manage this anytime in your iOS settings.
Children. Sorted collects nothing from anyone, regardless of age.
Changes. If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address.
