I am a permanent researcher at CONICET (National Scientific and Technical Research Council), which is Argentina's main organization for promoting science and technology. This position is currently on leave of absence, but I continue to advance my research as a contractual researcher at LAAS-CNRS (Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems).
I specialize in stochastic modelling, covering applications to physics, biology and engineering systems. My area of research can be classified into three groups: performance analysis of algorithms in complex networks, interacting particle systems, and statistical mechanics (from a probabilistic perspective). More precisely, I have experience in the following topics:
performance analysis and design of algorithms in random networks;
stability analysis of stochastic matching policies in random networks;
branching-selection particle systems and connections with free boundary problems;
phase transitions, microstructure formations, and pattern emergence in statistical mechanics.
See my Google Scholar profile, my arXiv profile and my CV. Please also visit the websites of the SARA and SOLACE teams, of which I am a member.
