Journal Entry

Had first IP meeting with Mr. Kelman during 4th today. Went over what I worked on this summer and made plans for the coming week. My goal is to start editing all four of the films I shot this summer and start writing my first screenplay for this fall. I'm hoping to finish editing the four summer films ASAP because I didn't anticipate doing so in the spring. I think this will probably push out the reading I assigned to myself, but a lot of the books I had already read anyway. I'm so excited to start working! I can't wait to finish what I worked on all summer. Will probably be living in Polk this term--I have no complains except that it's always so cold here and my hands and feet get really frozen :(

I started editing Chapter 6 tonight because I'm hoping to use that one for college apps. It's going really well! Yay!

Journal Entry

Almost done editing Chapter 6. I was hoping to submit this in a college app, but the requirement for the app is only 2 minutes. I want more time than that, so I think I'll cut two different versions. We love a Director's Cut. I just need to color grade and mix the foley sound from my iPhone Voice Memos and Chapter 6 will be done!

Done with 3-minute cut. Added the recordings from my Voice Memos. Still need to color grade. I moved a lot of sequences around but I'm happy with the changes from the script.
