The Soo-Nipi Quilters Guild has approximately 70 members, from beginners to advanced quilters. We meet the third Thursday of each month at the South Congregational Church in Newport, New Hampshire from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Membership dues are $30.00 annually.
Activities throughout the year include a biennial quilt show at the Library Arts Center in Newport, a raffle quilt and lots of charity quilts, sewing days, and great programs! Visitors are always welcome. Come join us!
Upcoming Events:
June 19 - Berkley Heath will have a presentation on her work dyeing fabrics. She came to our March meeting and then rescheduled after we had so many “Show and Tell” quilts to share. She travels around the country doing workshops on fabric dyeing. BTW: I have asked Berkley to bring fabric that we might purchase!
July 17 - Person Scavenger Hunt and Ice Cream Social - This will be a fun, relaxing day where we get to learn “interesting” facts about our fellow Guild members and enjoy having some ice cream. Be ready to laugh and enjoy!
August 21 - Share the President's Challenge - As we each show our pieces, we can talk about how we came up with our idea and what process we used to create it.
