one drawback however, its taking ~15-20 seconds for SGP to download image from the driver. not ideal. I was taking 2 minutes light frames, and it turns out I spent about 20% of my imaging time on that downloading. but if setup allows to take longer exposures it will be less noticable. it would be nice if SGP would instruct camera to make next exposure while it downloading current one, but it is not how SGP works.

Pay attention to the settings, follow suggestions from readme.txt file installed with the driver, and also make sure you updated to the latest version of Sony's Imaging Edge software. The driver essentially simulates clicks to various buttons in Imaging Edge Remote to do its job and it needs the Remote app of latest version.

NINA not working with this driver, because apparently NINA does not follow ASCOM standards, for some reason even if the driver reports that it cannot set sensor temperature or read sensor temperature NINA still tries to do this.

SGP works for me with no issues. This is where I tested the driver most. So try it with SGP it should work. Important point, for SGP you need to set Image format to CFA in driver settings, and make sure you are in RAW mode in Remote app.

It worked with SharpCap for me too (need latest version of SharpCap as old ones have bug in integration with ASCOM camera drivers), but I tested it there very quickly and for some basic things only, so cannot be sure if its really properly works with SharpCap.

It works with sony A7 iii but it can not download the image into SGP. The image downloaded propertly into sony image app.I have a suspicion that maybe it is usb 2.0 port. I will check it again on my second pc with usb 3 port

The firmware upgrade completed normally but since the upgrade windows 10 22H2 is not able the mount the disks and produces an error saying it has no access. If I remove the XDCAM drive software the drives do mount but only showing the 2 folders named General and ProAV. So I conclude the drive is not 'technically bricked' but its ability in combination with the 6.4.0 driver to mount the 'virtual' xdcam volume and folder structure that is being used by the Nablet plugin and Media composer is now broken. Using older driver versions does not help and downgrading the firmware is not allowed by the XDCAM drive utility.

Avid in 2023 with only the latest patches, released in this year, of Media composer 2023,x, 2022.12.x and 2021.12.x available for download, only these latest 2023, 2022 and 2021 version being under support, subscription licenses program only backwards compatible to Media composer 2018.6. and a Mediacentral LTM program that discontinued development/support for all pre 2022 version, is telling me that the supported XDCAM driver and firmware dates from either 2014 or 2015 (having difficulty finding the release date but 2.880 was released at the end of 2016).

At what point has it become impossible to manage this? For example: after how much time do you have to draw the conclusion that the development time needed for OpenIO on Mac, or Titler+ on Mac or Aja/Blackmagic drivers for Mac and for them to work in a reliable way with a newer Mac OS or M1, M2, M3 processor in combination with Media composer is longer than the economical life span of a Mac os version, Apple hardware or the support duration of a Media composer version? But I'm going off topic.

I connect my Sony voice recorder to my PC/WINDOWS 10 with a USB cord. When I try to import the files from the voice recorder to Audacity, I go to IMPORT - IC RECORDER F DRIVE- FOR WINDOWS - AUDIO - then it shows no files to import, just installs or guides. What do I need to do to import my audio files from my Sony px333 voice recorder to Audacity.

I tried everything from uninstalling the Bluetooth and sound drivers to disabling the mic of the XM5. I even restored the computer to a previous state and when it didn't work, I went one step further and fully reset it. All to no avail.

Recommendation: If you are a novice computer user with no experience updating drivers, we recommend using DriverDoc [Download DriverDoc - Product by Solvusoft] to help you update your Sony Digital Voice Recorder driver. Our driver update utility does all of the work by downloading and updating the correct ICD-P320 drivers automatically.

In addition, DriverDoc not only ensures your Digital Voice Recorder drivers stay updated, but with a database of over 2,150,000 drivers (database updated daily), it keeps all of your other PC's drivers updated as well.

Locating the right ICD-P320 driver on Sony's website can be very difficult, and can often take a lot of time searching. Locating, downloading, and manually updating your Windows ICD-P320 driver does take a lot of time, making the process unbearable for most users. Using defective or non-functional drivers will cause more damage and errors on your machine.

For the time and effort involved in the driver update process, we highly suggest using driver utility software. A driver update tool provides you with new driver versions for your hardware, and can also save a backup of current drivers before making any changes. Maintaining a driver backup provides you with the security of knowing that you can rollback any driver to a previous version (if necessary).

I have a problem; event though the Ultra Studio mini recorder is recognized, and the image can be seen via the media express software, it is not seen via the live capture settings in Isadora (3.0.7).

I am on a 2019 mac book pro under Catalina and the 11.7 desktop video driver.

is there a reason why I cannot get the image anymore? It was working fine until now with the 10.5 version. It has suddenly stopped working.

Is the driver ok? is there a problem with the video in watcher in Isadora? Etc?

Thank you very much in advance for any possible help.

The only thing I can see is to try with an older BM driver again. I use the version 11.4.1 and it works but with an intensity Pro card and not with the Ultra Studio mini Recorder. I haven't one so I cannot try. Perhaps will tomorrow (Monday) somebody with one have a solution.

- Install the 10.5 version of the driver, is that driver was working before with Izzy then that means that we at least have a setup that was working before. From there, since you still can't get any image;

Just checked with my MacBook Pro 16" 2019, Catalina. Used a TB3 to TB2 Adapter from Apple, connected the TB2 cable with the Mini Recorder and connected it with my Sony a7s. Worked fine in Isadora 3.0.6. Had the Blackmagic driver version 11.5.1 first (worked) and then updated to version 12 (worked as well).

Sony may have lost ground in the last home entertainment revolution when its Betamax video recorders were outnumbered and outflanked by the VHS systems. That was one skirmish. Now Sony thinks it could do something bigger. Since that earlier loss, Sony bought itself a Hollywood studio and a library and, earlier, a major record company (CBS Records).

Now it and other consumer product manufacturers are getting ready to sell HD sets, once the FCC next year and the rest of the world two years later agree on how many lines make for high definition. What follows will be HD video recorders, players and cameras.

It measures 3.9 by 1.9 by 0.8 inches and is the lightest of the phones we evaluated, weighing just under 3 ounces. This phone has a multicolor, highly contrasting display, like the Motorola and Sanyo phones, but it is slightly smaller than the other displays. The sound recorder on this phone is one unique feature that caught our attention.
