If you want a rugged, multi-device hub with real-time battery monitoring for heavy-duty vehicles and hunting trips, choose SONRU 180W; if you need a sleek, compact dual-USB-C charger that delivers maximum speed to modern smartphones without cluttering your dash, choose LISEN 90W.
• SONRU 180W: Its greatest strength is the ability to power five devices simultaneously (3 USB ports plus 2 extra cigarette lighter sockets) while displaying real-time voltage to protect your car battery; its trade-off is a larger, more complex build that dominates the console area. This pick is for truck owners, RV enthusiasts, and hunters who need to run heated gear, fridges, or multiple electronics in one go.
• LISEN 90W: Its biggest advantage is a thumb-sized metal alloy body that offers premium heat dissipation and full 45W charging speeds on two independent USB-C ports; the trade-off is the lack of extra power sockets and no voltage monitoring display. This pick is for drivers of standard cars and SUVs who prioritize aesthetics and fast charging for phones and tablets only.
The SONRU 180W Cigarette Lighter Splitter is built for people who treat their vehicle as a mobile command center rather than just a place to drive. The core value here is the "5-in-1" architecture. You aren't limited to just plugging in a phone or a GPS unit. With three dedicated charging ports—one PD port offering 30W and two QC 3.0 ports delivering 18W each—plus two additional 12V/24V cigarette lighter sockets, this device allows you to run a vacuum cleaner, an electric cooler, an inflator pump, and charge your phone all at once. In a scenario like a long hunting trip where you might be sitting in a stationary vehicle for hours, the ability to keep a heated seat pad running alongside a portable fridge and a dash cam is a genuine game-changer.
The engineering behind this splitter focuses heavily on versatility across different vehicle types. It explicitly supports both 12V and 24V systems, making it a viable option for everything from standard SUVs to large trucks and RVs. A standout feature for safety-conscious drivers is the integrated LED voltmeter. Unlike generic adapters that just sit there, this unit monitors your car battery's health in real-time. If the voltage drops outside the normal range (12V–14.8V for 12V systems or 23.2V–27.2V for 24V systems), the light flashes to warn you. This prevents the scenario where your accessories drain your battery so low that you can't start the engine when you're ready to head back home.
However, this level of functionality comes with physical compromises. The device includes two independent switches to control the power sockets, which helps extend equipment life by preventing wear and tear on plugs, but it also means the unit is physically larger and bulkier than a simple plug-in adapter. It sits deeper into the console and takes up significant space. Furthermore, the design prioritizes raw power distribution over aesthetic minimalism. If you are driving a small sedan or have a very tight cup holder configuration, this unit might feel intrusive. It is also worth noting that while it includes a replaceable fuse for safety against over-current or short circuits, the presence of multiple active components and switches adds complexity compared to simpler chargers. This product is ideal if you view your car's power outlet as a mini-grid that needs to handle heavy loads, but it is overkill if you only ever charge a phone.

The LISEN 90W USB C Car Charger is designed for a completely different philosophy: speed, style, and simplicity. This isn't about powering a camp stove or a heated vest; it is about getting your high-end electronic devices charged as fast as possible without looking like you've installed industrial equipment in your dashboard. The defining characteristic of the LISEN is its dual 45W USB-C port configuration. Many car chargers claim high wattage but split it poorly between ports. LISEN ensures that both ports deliver a full 45W independently. This means you can plug in an iPhone 17 Pro Max and an iPad Pro simultaneously, and neither device will suffer a slowdown in charging speed. For users relying on the latest PD 3.0 standards, this consistency is critical.
The build quality signals a focus on premium materials and thermal management. While many competitors use cheap plastic shells that can get hot under load, the LISEN features an all-metal alloy shell. This isn't just for looks; the metal construction actively aids in heat dissipation, keeping the charger cool even when pushing near its maximum capacity. The design is described as "thumb-sized," measuring roughly 2.1 inches in length. This compact footprint is intentional, ensuring the charger doesn't block adjacent buttons or create a cluttered look in the vehicle. It fits seamlessly into most 12V cigarette lighter ports without feeling obtrusive. For a driver who values a clean interior and wants a charger that feels like part of the car's original design language rather than an afterthought, this is the superior choice.
Safety is handled through intelligent power management chips and compliance with UL, CE, FCC, and RoHS certifications. The casing uses PC fuel barrier V-0 grade material, which is flame retardant and environmentally friendly, adding a layer of security beyond basic electrical protection. However, this focus on the two USB-C ports means you sacrifice the ability to plug in traditional 12V accessories directly. There are no extra cigarette lighter sockets, no voltage display, and no switches. If you need to run a tire inflator or a dash cam via a standard plug, you would need to find another solution or rely on the USB ports for those specific models. This product is perfect for the tech-savvy commuter or traveler who has upgraded to USB-C devices and wants the fastest possible charge times in a package that respects the interior design of modern vehicles.
• Best for total power output → SONRU 180W: With a combined 180W capability spread across five connection points, it handles heavy loads that the LISEN simply cannot touch.
• Best for fast-charging modern phones → LISEN 90W: The dual 45W PD 3.0 ports provide consistent, high-speed charging for the latest smartphones and tablets without splitting power unevenly.
• Best for off-road and hunting trips → SONRU 180W: The inclusion of 24V compatibility and extra 12V sockets makes it essential for running auxiliary gear like fridges or heaters in remote locations.
• Best for interior aesthetics and space → LISEN 90W: Its tiny, metal body leaves plenty of room around the console and avoids the bulky look of a splitter.
• Best for battery health monitoring → SONRU 180W: The LED voltage display provides real-time data on your car battery status, a feature absent on the LISEN.
• Best for heat resistance → LISEN 90W: The metal alloy shell offers superior passive cooling compared to the plastic-heavy construction of the splitter.
• Best for 24V vehicles → SONRU 180W: Only the SONRU explicitly supports 24V systems found in larger trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Best for simplicity → LISEN 90W: Plug it in and go; no switches to toggle or displays to monitor.
In my opinion, the decision between these two comes down to whether you need a utility tool or a performance accessory. If you are planning a serious outdoor excursion, specifically for hunting trips where you might be stationary for extended periods and need to run heated seats or a cooler, I would buy the SONRU 180W. Its ability to support 24V systems and provide extra power sockets is indispensable in that environment, and the voltage monitor gives peace of mind when the engine is idling. However, if your primary goal is just to keep your phone and tablet topped up quickly in a daily commute, the LISEN 90W is the smarter, cleaner choice. I recommend the SONRU for the hunter who needs reliability and power; I recommend the LISEN for the urban driver who values speed and style.
Yes, the SONRU is explicitly designed to work with 12V and 24V vehicles, including trucks and RVs, and includes a voltage display to monitor battery health during operation.
Absolutely. Both USB-C ports deliver a full 45W independently, allowing you to charge two PD-compatible devices like an iPhone and an iPad simultaneously without speed reduction.
The LISEN 90W features a metal alloy shell specifically engineered for better heat dissipation, whereas the SONRU 180W uses a standard design with internal chips to manage power distribution across multiple ports.
No, the LISEN only offers two USB-C ports. To run traditional 12V accessories like dash cams (with DC plugs) or air pumps, you would need the extra sockets provided by the SONRU 180W.
