• The app scans and reads audio and video files stored on your device

• This is required to build your media library

• Access is read-only

• The app does not modify, delete, or upload your files

3. Permissions Used

SonicWave uses the following permissions:

• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO
  Used to scan your device for music and video files

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE
  Enables background audio playback

• WAKE_LOCK
  Keeps audio playing when your screen is off

• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
  Restores playback queue after device restart

4. Data Storage

• All app data (playlists, favorites, queue, settings) is stored locally on your device

• Data is stored using a local database (Hive)

• No cloud sync or remote servers are used

• Uninstalling the app removes all stored data

5. Data We Do NOT Collect

SonicWave does not collect or process:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)

• Location data

• Device identifiers or advertising IDs

• Usage analytics or crash data

• Any data transmitted to external servers

6. Third-Party Services

SonicWave does not use any third-party services, including:

• Analytics tools

• Advertising SDKs

• Cloud services

All features are handled locally on your device.

SonicWave is not intended for children under the age of 13.
