Developing a deep learning architecture that accepts the time- and frequency-domain representations (amplitude and phase) of the waveform data and returns high-resolution 2D seismic images.
Proposing a novel framework for generating random, complex, two-dimensional soil profiles (including utilities) by employing random field theory and boundary definition using a random uniform number generator.
Simulating data acquisition on these generated profiles by numerically solving the elastic wave equation using the open-source software SPECFEM2D.
