Still colors is not the best 3d sonic game in my opinion.

With my experience in sonic games i actually had a better time with 06 than colors, because of the difficulty. In my opinion colors wii is a really easy sonic game and that's why i really don't like it.

And unleashed tell me about it. If you told me sonic unleashed was launching in 2021 i would have believed you. And don't say "weLL ItS beCAuSe oF ThaT wEREHog". If you do explain why people like game with different playstyles.

Sonic Forces was the latest mainline game that came out the same year as Super Mario Odyssey and got eclipsed by it in both reviews and sales. Mania alone was the most talked about sonic game all year even after Forces was released.

I think the main reason i am here pissed in the comment section is that it seems like people are ignoring the highs or just saying the highs of the sonic series are not highs. (Also because people are still talking about 06 when its 15 years old.)

I just find it so funny, Like when the hell did everyone think Sonic Un Was the best 3D sonic game, If I remember right, everyone was calling it crap (In my opinion for no real reason) But now 5 years later Everyone is just jumping on the "Sonic Unleashed is good Now" When people have been saying that from the beginning.

Also Mario is oudated, But is no means in my opinion a bad game, It was what was good in its time, Now sonic AD 2, My god, First of all, I'm running off *** Half the time, Sonic Has this strange drift to his movement for whatever reason, Escape to the city was a great level, but almost all the one after are ether ok, or just Crap,

Back to the sonic portion, For some reason they have these really tight platforming moments, and it just doesn't work with how Sonic control's, and I will say that the way these levels were built up were great, but the way They play out is just bad.

@FlameRunnerFast Well maybe If they make a remake I will see it with a different eye, I love the game don't get me wrong, Its actually one of my favorite sonic games, plus its old so it will have its common old issues, I was just saying compared to how 64 presented itself, It was not better.

The best 3d game? I'm sorry I have to disagree with that while modern sonic games are hit or miss wouldn't call it the best I take sonic adventure and sonic adventure 2 over this and sonic unleashed but its better than secret rings and black Knight.

Yeah it's fine to dislike parts of games, I just wanted to address them. The internet has a bad habit of saying bad things about games without addressing how bad it is overall. The "3D sonic was never good" meme is a good example of how bad it gets, when this is a fan favorite for tons of Sonic fans. A "bad" game being loved by many? Hmm. Hence why perspective is needed. Good to see you're reasonable, rather than others that bash games for fun and don't care for commenting on why something is bad.

The action segues from platforming in both 3D and side-scrolling pseudo 2D to rail grinding and racing along with the camera at Sonic's back, with the odd bit of skydiving to boot. There's plenty of variety within and between levels, even without the novelty of wisps. These wisps are the colours for which the game is named; when you set them free, wisps confer on Sonic a special ability according to their colours. These abilities include a blimplike flying form, a sharklike berserker form, a rocket form that blasts you high above the level, and a wall-walking pink spike-ball form. As novelties, the wisp powers are amusing enough but still not as much fun as Sonic's essential repertoire of speed boost, double jump, and ground stomp. The levels are engineered to encourage their use, and bonus points are awarded for doing so, but the temptation is to rely on the basic platforming where they aren't required.
