"Shots" is a song performed by American electro recording duo LMFAO featuring American rapper Lil Jon. It was released as the third single from the first album Party Rock. The song was written by Jonathan Smith, Skyler Austen Gordy, Stefan Kendal Gordy, and Eric Delatorre.

In the 2010s, Shots became a go-to drinking anthem and pub song,[1][2][3][4] it can also be a communal drinking song, citing the repetitive chorus chant of "Shots, Shots, Shots!" being used colloquially.[5] 13 years later, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Shots was used as an incentive at pharmacies and clinics in North America as a celebratory song for the general public getting vaccinated, being a word play for the COVID-19 "shot" or "jab".[6][7]

The music video for the song was uploaded to YouTube on December 4, 2009.[8] The video was filmed at Tao Beach at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. The video begins with people sunbathing at the Tao Beach pool. Suddenly, Lil Jon, LMFAO, Q, Eric D-Lux and many others appear out of nowhere and began singing the song. The video also features GoonRock, who later appears in LMFAO's hit singles "Party Rock Anthem" and "Champagne Showers".

Coming up next is a song that is about to be my single, because it has a video dropping tomorrow. It's called "Shot in the Dark." And I think lyrically it's to the 80's what musically "Last Train Home" is, which is kind of an homage to a certain type of vocabulary. "We're searching for the night together." "Casanova." These are kind of lines you don't hear anymore. People don't reference "casanova" in songs anymore. But I do.

This was a really really tough one to record. I didn't know I'd gotten it until after the record was made. Which is why I'm getting to know it now and really enjoying it. Because every other song was incredibly fun to make. And this song was incredibly hard to bring to fruition.

I remembering thinking to myself, having a "hit" with this song, in quotes, would be just getting this song on the record. I just want to be able to lift this song up, this heavy little thing, just up enough to get it on the truck. Good or bad.

I love this song and really want it to work. And I would have killed it, as we do as producers and writers and creators. We sometimes look at things and go, look, you have a lot of potential but I got to let you go. And I just didn't want to do that.

Now what's the anatomy of my disappointment of "Shot in the Dark" when I was making it? It's the next single. So that shows how much I like it. Nobody quite knows why certain projects or certain songs are interpreted with all of these biases, that this isn't working, this isn't right.

And again, there is Maren Morris, seemingly used sparingly, but really to great effect because of her doing these "doo, doo" background things that are so glaringly feminine in a way that obviously I cannot get to. And the presence of that spirit all of a sudden at the end of that song, for me, is one of my favorite moments of the whole record. So again, I gotta tell you, for Maren Morris to come into the studio, and we put a song up and she goes "doo, doo, doo, doo," and I go, that's gonna be incredible! I just felt, she's so overqualified for that, but the effect that it gives, I think, is so beautiful.

In Long Shot, Fred doesn't meet the standards of whom Charlotte's campaign team and the general public think should be her significant other - however, the chemistry between Fred and Charlotte is undeniable, and they seek a relationship despite political constructs, the opinions of Long Shot's cast of supporting characters, and their own reservations of each other. Long Shot's soundtrack is full of optimistic modern-day tunes, as well as sentimental throwbacks to complement their romantic journey. When the going gets tough between the characters' romance and upbeat songs are no longer enough, Long Shot throws in a nostalgic song to ground the relationship.

"Birthday Song" by 2 Chainz and Kanye West - Charlotte sings the lyrics to this song while she and Fred revise a speech in Manila, and she claims the tune to be her favorite of the songs Fred has introduced to her.

"It Must Have Been Love" by Roxette - "It Must Have Been Love" plays after Fred and Charlotte sneak away from the political soire to slow dance together alone in an unoccupied room. Later, the song plays while Fred leaves a phone message for Charlotte admitting he's willing to change if it means their relationship will carry on.

On the ground, Lucius heals Portia, who immediately enters the crypt; Benicio, somewhat confused, follows her, and Lawrence goes in the same direction. On the roof, Ray, who had ended up entangled in the vines, lets go, but is terrified and urinates on herself; Aurra grabs her and asks her who she is. Inside, the Lorelei siblings fight some more undead, and knowing they need some help, Lucius uses Turn Undead to defend his younger siblings, making their fight easier.
