So it was perfectly fine, matched my phones ringtone, loud and useful. It randomly switched to a very pleasant noise that you cannot hear from anywhere other than right next to your phone. I used to click find my phone and find it. I just clicked find my phone and had to search for a noise somewhere in my home. IT IS TOO QUIET.

I agree, now I can't find my phone anymore cause its too queit! That was one of the best features of the watch finding my phone cause my phone is always on silent! So, it's not useful anymore. They need to stop messing with thing unless many user s complain that there is a problem! Stop changing what isn't broke and fix the things that are awful and you get hundreds of complaints about!

I've repeatedly chose the original sound "my ringtone", and it eorks great for tests. But the 3 times I've really needed it bad it switched without authorization, to a worthless sound that echos strangely in big open spaces.

When I am using the "Be anywhere" or the simultaneous ring feature and I am receiving calls on my iphone, I need to be able to differentiate between someone calling on my iphone number and the comcast voice number. I run 2 businesses -- one from my iphone number and the other from the new comcast voice mobility number. My greeting needs to reflect who the caller is trying to call, so I need to know which business the caller is trying to reach.

I just got a comcast voice mobility line installed this week. When I was shopping around for a service that gives me this ability I was reassured multiple times by the comcast representative that they offered this feature. She said I would be able to tell who they are trying to call because the call will come through the comcast business app and thus will look different. This is not true. She either didn't know what she was talking about or she was lying to me.

What is the "Priority Alert" feature? I can't seem to find any documentation about it. It says, "When you receive an incoming call from any of these numbers you will hear a unique call waiting or ring tone." But, I tried it and I don't see how it can change a ringtone. It almost seems like this feature could be the answer if it worked.

There is a certain feature that is called "Answer Confirmation." This feature will require you to press a key before a call is completed for your mobility line. If a call is coming directly to your personal line, no key is required. This link in Step 2 of the "Add a phone" section will help you locate this feature. -and-support/voiceedge/manage-be-anywhere/. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need anything.

I was just looking for the same thing. The answer confirmation is a 'bandaid' solution and requires more work just to answer the phone. Other apps have ways of distinguishing calls from one another, what is Comcast doing to make that happen? I see the original post is almost a year old, one would think something has been figured out by now in all honesty.

Information regarding our mobility services can be located through the following link and you may find options here that will work for you. -and-support/voiceedge/manage-be-anywhere/. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need anything. The only option Google Nest provides for changing the ringtone for the Google Nest Hello Doorbell is the option to select a holiday ringtone using the "Doorbell theme" option under "Device Options" in Settings, but Google removes this option from the Google Nest app and sets the ringtone back to "Ding Dong" when--in Google's estimation--the holiday is over. Judging from another post, they apparently removed it recently now that Google regards the Christmas season as over (even though winter, which was a selectable theme, is definitely NOT over).

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. I'm afraid that there is no such option to change the chime sound. It has a default tone that can't be changed at the moment. Not unless it's around a holiday where a holiday theme may be available.

Just checking in to see if you still need assistance with this issue. We'll leave this topic open for another 24 hrs in case there are any follow up questions or comments. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi @PaulSmith1,

Thank you for your post and welcome to our community forums. We're here to help.

It's a shame to hear that incoming calls are acting differently. Have you tried calling the number yourself from a different phone? Are you having any trouble making and/or receiving calls?

Thanks,

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have tried calling my landline from my mobile and experience the same strange ringtone. Calls connect ok when the landline is answered and I have no problem in making calls either. My only real concern is, that when anyone attempts to call my landline that they may mistaking think they have incorrectly dialled or worse, called an international number, as it sounds the same as calling somewhere like the USA.

RINGBACK tones are what your caller hears when they dial your number and are waiting for you to pick up or your voicemail to kick in. They are managed online through your MyVerizon account. The choices for ringback tones are limited to the ones available online through the Verizon store. You can request specific tones, but you cannot make your own.

RINGTONES, that you hear when someone calls you and your phone "rings", are different. You can take any mp3, clip 30 seconds or less of the song/file, and use it as a ringtone. Check out phonezoo for uploading, clipping tools, and sending it to your phone (and it's all free). There are also many, many that other users have created and made available. They are sent to your phone as a text message, and you save the file as a ringtone when it arrives on your phone.

In settings, go to Sounds and then click on Ringtone. Assuming you have already created and synced ringtones to your iPhone (you can NOT use music directly from your iPhone that plays via the Music App as those have not been converted to be recognized as ringtones) then you would see any ringtones you synced in addition to the tones that came on the iPhone. You can also find out more info on how to use your features by looking at the user guide on your iPhone. It is located in the bookmarks in Safari.

This is something that's happened on all of my Samsung phones since my s20 Ultra. But it's gotten so much worse on my s22 Ultra lately. It just randomly sets my ringtone to almost zero. Many other people seem to have the same problem as well.

No, it's not in my pocket and hitting the volume button. This will happen just sitting on my desk next to me. It was just every so often before but, in the past week or so, it seems to just keep setting it low all of the time.

Yes, would be AWESOME if someone from Samsung cared enough to try and help. If you Google this, you'll see this is an ongoing problem. This is my 4th Galaxy and EVERY one of them has had the problem. The bigger issue is, each phone has the problem worse than the one before.

Yesterday, it turned itself down like 5 times. No, it's not in my pocket. No, it's not being changed by a phone holder (happens in cars I don't have a holder). This just keeps happening over and over.

As it stands, I can't see myself buying another SS phone. Add to that, each time they push an update they will force the update and sometimes it happens in the middle of the day--happened once while I was navigating somewhere. Had to pull over and wait for the update. More often than not, it happens over night. Problem is, when the phone restarts after the update, it won't fully-restart until you unlock it. This is a problem because my alarm won't go off until it fully-starts up. So, this morning my alarm didn't go off and I was late because it forced an update over night.

I have an S22 Ultra and had an S20 Ultra before. And I can't agree with you more. I tolerated this issue on my previous phone. But it's just too much on S22 Ultra. It's always going low to the same sound level, everytime. I could even witness it happening when someone calls me. It's starts high for a second maybe then goes low. And stays low until I raise it again.

I'm done with Samsung phones at this point. I can't take this any longer. Would really be nice if they actually responded to problems like this with some kind of solution and not where they just point the finger elsewhere...

Incoming calls can be handled directly or via the UCC (Unified Contact Center). For example, if someone calls the main number of your company and it is connected to a UCC, the call will be routed to an available agent with the relevant skill.

Let's say your company uses one skill and has two agents who are using the WebAgent. When the call comes in, it will be placed in a queue and the UCC will look for an available agent with the relevant skill. If you are available, the call will be forwarded to you and the WebAgent will ring, allowing you to answer the call.

If your colleague is initially hunted for the call but does not answer, the call will remain in the queue. You can either pick up the call from the queue or wait until the UCC decides to hunt for another agent (in this case, it would be you if you are available).

While a caller is on hold, it's important to keep them informed and provide an estimate of how long they can expect to be on hold. This can help to reduce frustration and improve the overall customer experience. 152ee80cbc
