Someday Privacy Policy
Someday Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 30.9.2026
At Someday, we prioritise your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our app.
Someday is operated by LEGAL ENTITY ("we"). We collect only what you give us:
Sign in with Apple. Apple gives us an identifier for you, and your name and email address if you choose to share them. You may hide your real address behind Apple's private relay. We never see your Apple password.
Your answers to our questions. Your name, city, age, gender and sexuality; your relationship status and work; what you hope changes and what stands in your way; how you'd describe yourself and anything from your past you choose to share; the first names of people who matter to you and how they're related to you; and the life you picture — where you'd live, the home, the partner, the work, an ordinary day.
What you add later. Dreams, wins you record and any photo you attach, and which stories you've played.
We collect nothing automatically from your device. Someday contains no advertising and no third-party tracking, and currently sends no analytics at all.
Solely to make the app work for you: to write your visualizations and their titles, to write your daily affirmations, to choose a photograph for each story, and to keep them on your account across devices.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you first open the app. Your sexuality is used for one thing — so a story involving a partner uses the right words. You can leave it blank.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising. It reaches only these processors, and only as far as each needs:
OpenAI — to write your stories
ElevenLabs — the voice you hear.
Unsplash — a short phrase describing a scene, written by our AI. No personal details.
Google Firebase — hosting, storage and sign-in.
Apple — sign-in and subscriptions. We never see your payment details.
Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States, as is the processing done by OpenAI and ElevenLabs. If you're in the UK or EU, your information is transferred outside your country under the safeguards those providers offer.
Stories and their audio are deleted automatically after 30 days. Everything else is kept until you delete it. A copy of your current stories, their photographs and recently played audio is cached on your phone so the app works offline; photos you attach to a win, and your profile picture, never leave your phone at all.
Delete everything. Profile → Delete account removes your data from our servers and cannot be undone.
See or correct it. Your profile is editable in the app. For a copy of what we hold, or to correct or restrict it, email us below.
Reminders are scheduled on your phone, not sent from a server. Turn them off in iOS Settings.
In the UK or EU you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Updates are posted here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app.
