Born in Harlem, New York, Solomon Franks has built a journey of resilience, passion, and purpose. From humble beginnings in Spanish Harlem to signing with major talent agencies, Solomon has shown the world that dreams backed by hard work can become reality. Today, he continues to rise in the film and television industry while inspiring others to push beyond their limits.
Solomon grew up in Washington Housing Projects in Harlem, surrounded by music, culture, and challenges. His parents, strong in faith and family values, kept him grounded with church on Sundays and lessons about right and wrong. Inspired by actors like Denzel Washington, Wesley Snipes, and Bruce Lee, Solomon discovered his love for performing early through school plays and sports like basketball. In 1996, his family moved to Atlanta, where he attended South Atlanta High School. He joined the football and track teams and dreamed of making it to the NFL. But life took an unexpected turn due to struggles at home. Still determined, Solomon moved out, continued pursuing acting and music, and never stopped believing in his dreams.
Solomon’s acting career began with background roles, where he built strong connections and learned from industry professionals. His big break came through Central Casting, landing roles in well-known shows like The Resident, Marvel TV series, Dynasty, and The Game.
The Game was a turning point — not only because of his love for football, but because it introduced him to mentors who guided him to the next level.
Today, Solomon Franks is signed with Dream Team Talent and Baron Entertainment. He has appeared multiple times on Fatal Attraction and has three feature films releasing in 2026. Beyond acting, Solomon is committed to giving back to his community and leaving a positive impact through his work on screen and in real life.
