Hi! My name is Grigory Solomadin. Welcome to my homepage.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am a DFG Walter Benjamin Fellow, hosted by Philipps-Universität Marburg, working with O. Goertsches, and several other mathematicians.
In past, I was a postdoc at Institut de Recherche Mathématique Avancée (IRMA), working with V. Dotsenko; before that, I had a 6-month research visit to Okayama University of Science, invited by S. Kuroki. In past, (2019--2022) I held two postdoctoral positions in Moscow, working with A. Ayzenberg, and several others.
My PhD thesis was defended in 2018 at Steklov Mathematical Institute, under the supervision of V. Buchstaber. I was awarded Simons stipend, and twice by "Young Russian Mathematics" award.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My interests are Geometry and Algebraic Topology.
I study topological spaces, manifolds and algebraic varieties equipped with additional structures (such as operads) that often having large symmetries (e.g. equpped with Lie group action), and their algebraic and topological invariants.
Methods that I use include topological, geometric algebraic and categorical techniques: singular, equivariant cohomology, complex bordism, functor calculus, sheaf theory.
Behaviour of the above invariants with respect to various particular constructions such as iterated blow-ups, colimits etc. often is in my focus.
