PRIVACY POLICY
App: Solitaire & Cards Offline
Developer: Kaal (individual developer)
Contact: help.kaal@gmail.com
Effective date: 16 September 2026
Last updated: 16 September 2026
1. SUMMARY
Solitaire & Cards Offline is a single-player card game. It works entirely offline.
There is no account, no login and no sign-up. We never ask for your name,
email address, phone number, photos, contacts, files or precise location, and
we have no server of our own that stores anything about you.
The app does show ads, and it does report crashes and anonymous usage
statistics. Those features use Google services that collect a limited amount
of device data, described in full below. In regions that require it, you are
asked for consent before any of that happens, and you can change your answer
at any time from Settings.
2. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
This app is published by Kaal, an individual developer. For the purposes of
the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, Kaal is the data controller
for the limited data described in this policy.
You can reach us at any time at help.kaal@gmail.com. We aim to reply to every
privacy request within 30 days.
3. WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED, AND WHY
We collect nothing directly. All of the data below is collected by Google
software built into the app.
3.1 Advertising identifier
What: Your device's Advertising ID, a resettable number that identifies
your device to advertisers. It is not your name and is not tied to
any account.
Why: To show ads and to limit how often the same ad is repeated.
Shared with: Google (AdMob).
Collected only after you consent, where consent is required.
3.2 Approximate location, derived from IP address
What: A general area, typically at country or city level. This is worked
out from your internet connection, not from your device's GPS.
Why: To show ads that are legal and appropriate in your region, and to
apply the correct privacy rules for your country.
Shared with: Google (AdMob).
We never collect precise or GPS location.
3.3 App activity and usage
What: Anonymous, aggregated events such as which game was started, whether
it was won or lost, how long it lasted, and which settings were
changed. These are counts and categories, never free text and never
anything you typed.
Why: To understand which parts of the game people enjoy and which are too
hard, so the game can be improved.
Collected by: Google Firebase Analytics.
Not shared for advertising unless you have consented to personalised ads.
3.4 Crash and diagnostic reports
What: If the app stops unexpectedly, a technical report describing what
the app was doing, the device model and the operating system
version.
Why: To find and fix bugs.
Collected by: Google Firebase Crashlytics.
These reports contain no personal information.
3.5 Purchase status, if you ever buy anything
What: Confirmation from Google Play that a purchase was completed.
Why: To unlock what you paid for and to restore it if you reinstall.
Handled by: Google Play Billing. We never see or receive your payment
card, bank details or billing address.
3.6 What we never collect
Your name, email address, phone number or postal address.
Your contacts, calendar, photos, camera, microphone or files.
Your precise or GPS location.
Any health, financial or biometric information.
Any text you type, other than a shared game code, which is a short code
describing a card layout and contains nothing about you.
4. DATA THAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Your game progress, statistics, achievements, settings, unlocked themes and
poker chip balance are saved only in the app's own storage on your phone.
They are never uploaded anywhere and we cannot see them.
Poker chips are a local score with no monetary value. They cannot be bought,
sold, exchanged, transferred or cashed out, and your balance never leaves your
device.
If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted with it. Depending on your
Android backup settings, Google may include app data in your own device
backup. That backup belongs to you and your Google account, not to us.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The app includes software from Google. Each has its own privacy policy, and
their handling of data is governed by those policies:
Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform
Google Firebase Analytics
Google Firebase Crashlytics
Google Firebase Remote Config
Google Play Billing
Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
How Google uses data from apps that use its services:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
There are no other third-party services in this app. There is no social
network integration, no analytics beyond the above, no advertising network
other than Google, and no tracking of you across other companies' apps or
websites by us.
6. YOUR CONSENT, AND HOW TO CHANGE IT
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or
a US state with an applicable privacy law, the app shows you a consent form
the first time it runs, before any advertising or analytics data is collected.
You may accept or decline. If you decline, the app remains completely usable.
You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised, meaning they are
chosen without using your data.
You can change your decision at any time:
Open the app, go to Settings, then Privacy, then Privacy options.
That reopens the same form. You may withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before you
withdrew it.
You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device
settings, under Settings, then Google, then Ads. Android also offers an option
to opt out of ad personalisation entirely, which applies to every app on your
device including this one.
7. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (EEA, UK AND SWITZERLAND)
Advertising and ad measurement: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Analytics: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Crash reporting and app security: our legitimate interest in keeping the
app working correctly, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Processing a purchase: performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We do not process any special category data, and we do not carry out automated
decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
8. HOW LONG DATA IS KEPT
We hold no database of our own, so we retain nothing ourselves.
Google retains the data described above according to its own policies.
Advertising data is typically retained for a limited period tied to the
Advertising ID, which you can reset at any time. Analytics data is retained in
aggregate form. Crash reports are retained for approximately 90 days.
Data stored on your device stays there until you delete the app or clear its
data.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
9.1 Everyone
Whatever country you are in, you may contact us at help.kaal@gmail.com to ask
what data relates to you, to ask us to delete it, or to complain about how it
has been handled.
Because the app has no account system, we usually cannot identify which data
belongs to which person. In most cases the fastest and most complete way to
delete your data is to reset your Advertising ID in your device settings and
uninstall the app. We will always explain your options if you write to us.
9.2 European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it
corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data
portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data
protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office
at https://ico.org.uk. In the EU, a list of authorities is available at
https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/board/members_en.
9.3 United States
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and under
similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and other states,
sharing data with an advertising network for targeted advertising may be
treated as a "sale" or "sharing" even where no money changes hands.
You may opt out of that sharing. In the app, open Settings, then Privacy, then
Privacy options, and decline. You may also reset or delete your Advertising
ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings.
California residents additionally have the right to know what personal
information is collected, to delete it, to correct it, to limit the use of
sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for
exercising any of these rights. We do not collect sensitive personal
information as that term is defined in the CPRA, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from anyone under 16.
You may make a request through an authorised agent. Write to
help.kaal@gmail.com and we will explain what we need in order to act on it.
9.4 Australia
This app is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the
Australian Privacy Principles.
You may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask for
it to be corrected. As explained above, the app has no account system and we
hold no database, so in most cases we hold no information capable of
identifying you.
If you believe your privacy has been interfered with, please contact us first
at help.kaal@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied
with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian
Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au.
9.5 Other countries
If your country gives you rights over your personal data, we will honour them.
Write to help.kaal@gmail.com.
10. CHILDREN
This app is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over. It is not
directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information
from children.
The app contains a play-money poker mode. It involves no real-money gambling
of any kind, no prizes, and no way to buy, sell or cash out chips. Because of
this content the app may carry a higher age rating in some countries, and you
should follow the age rating shown on your app store.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app,
contact help.kaal@gmail.com and we will delete what we can.
11. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
The developer is based in [YOUR COUNTRY]. Google processes data on servers in
the United States and other countries.
Where data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United
Kingdom, Google relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual
Clauses and equivalent safeguards. Details are in Google's own privacy
documentation, linked in section 5.
12. SECURITY
The app makes no network connections of its own. It communicates only with
Google's advertising, analytics, configuration and billing services, always
over encrypted connections. Unencrypted network traffic is disabled entirely.
Data saved on your device is protected by Android's own app sandboxing, which
prevents other apps from reading it.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we keep the
amount of data involved as small as we can, which is the most effective
protection available.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the "last updated"
date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will ask for
your consent again inside the app.
