I am a PhD Student in the Land Economics group, at the University of Bonn.
My current research is part of the LAND-POLICY ERC Starting Grant. I investigate whether and under which conditions public policies and other restoration interventions can reverse land degradation, using remote sensing data and econometric techniques, complemented by a large-scale systematic review.
I previously obtained a BSc and MSc in Agricultural Sciences from ETH Zurich.
I have a broad research interest in topics linked to agricultural, environmental, and development economics. Examples of my previous work include exploring the value chains of niche crops in Europe, assessing the rentability of alternatives to pesticides in Switzerland, and investigating agrifood industry labor dynamics in Ghana.
