Temidayo Precious Joshua

Temidayo is a graduate of Finance from Ekiti state university. She was an active member of Climate change club during her secondary school days. She represented her school (Baptist High school, Obanikoro Lagos.) at various programs set up by the club, aimed at enlightening the young people about the impacts of human activities on the planet earth. She learnt that one of the major environmental challenges faced today is as a result of humans sources of energy which cause emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere. From her engagement in the club's activities, she believes our survival as species on planet earth depends on how we treat it. She has the passion to solve energy problems in Africa and she believes that the solution to the problems is all encompassing . She believes that we would be able to mitigate the energy problems if we reduce our dependence on fossils fuels and coal as sources of energy and turn to renewable energy source which is environmental friendly.

She recently began her exploration of the renewable energy industry when she was offered a scholarship for PV installation and entrepreneurship training by Ashdam Solar Academy sponsored by Girls and Women Technological Empowerment Organisation (GWTEO)

She loves cooking. She is a native of Ode-Irele, Ondo State. She wants to be a game changer by thriving wonderfully in a male dominated industry.

Nenritmwa Gotodok Gofup

Nenritmwa is a graduate of law from the University of Jos currently rounding up an LLM program in Energy law at the Center for Petroleum Energy Economics and Law, (CPEEL) University of Ibadan. She interned at the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) where she got hands-on policy andregulatory experience in the Nigerian electricity sector. She is an invitee to the 2020 Africa climate week in Kampala which has been postponed due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. She is an environmental enthusiast who understands how human activities in the quest to satisfy their energy needs negatively impact the environment and leads to climate change. She believes in environmental justice and sustainable use of the environment as a means of mitigating as well as preventing further damage to the planet. She is passionate about solving local and global energy issues through the use of renewable energy sources, international cooperation, effective policy making and adequate regulatory framework.

Nenritmwa enjoys travelling, acquiring new skills and listening to music. She is a native of Lur Kanke Local Government of Plateau state. She hopes to attain great heights and to contribute to the local and global solution of energy and climate change issues.




Oluwatomi Elizabeth Omogbai

Oluwatomi holds a bachelors degree in Geography and a masters degree in Energy and Environment studies from the University of Ibadan Nigeria. She is currently building her career as an energy and environment consultant and researcher. She is an ardent children lover and a fashion enthusiast. She enjoys community engagement and partnerships for development especially in rural areas. She is currently a partnership and impact assessment team member volunteer in the AWEDI network. She is also an Environmental Associate with A-FEEDi.

Benedicta Chidinma Madu

Madu Benedicta is an o'level certificate holder, presently a student studying nursing in a University in Anambra, she is quite a flair and really loves dancing, she got intrigued by solar energy and how it could help her local environment and much larger areas, she is a person who has always liked to solve energy issues around her and extended places, she is so pleased to have been graced with knowledge concerning solar energy acquired with the aid of Girls and Women Technological Empowerement Organisation and Ashdam Solar Academy. She plans to use her knowledge to make a difference for her environment for all to have a greener Future.

Barry Binta Bamise

Barry Binta Bamise is a graduate of philosophy from the University of Lagos, She is an experienced digital marketer, and business strategist.

Her hobbies are reading, watching crimes and heist movies, and doing researchs about almost everything.

Her best moments during the Solar Queen Technical Training Program were the safety class, energy auditing, practicals on the types of solar systems and how to install solar panels on roofs.

Mojisola Olanlege

Mojisola Olanlege has a first degree in Physics and a PGD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. she inspires the younger ones by mentoring them to believe in themselves no matter their background. She teaches them that whatever they set their heart in will become a reality in matter of time no matter the challenges that may come their way. She has served as vice president in ROTARACT club, (the student arm of ROTARY) in her university days. She also volunteers in propagating STEM. Her dream to see stable electricity supply both in rural and urban part of Nigeria has made her to quest for knowledge in the renewable energy sector. Her hobbies includes teaching, listening to music, reading and travelling. Presently she works with one of the electricity distribution company in Nigeria.


Christianah Feechi Madu

Christianah Madu is from a family of 6, from IMO state Nigeria. She finished her o level on may 2019 and she us admission into the university. She is an ambassador of the BEMORE empowered foundation, which teaches girls in solar technology, computer science and other life skills. She loves cooking and writing poems and novels. She is aspiring to be a solar engineer, software coder and a medical doctor.
