The Vanden Meadows Specific Plan, in conjunction with the adjacent Southtown Specific Plan, aims to create a new residential neighborhood in southeastern Vacaville.
At buildout, the plan will construct a total of approximately 779 new homes at a a variety of densities.
As part of the development, the developer would connect Foxboro Parkway to Leisure Town Road/Jepson Parkway.
There will also be options for new schools on a 28.4 acre site under the Travis Unified School District (TUSD):
Adjacent to the school, there will be a new neighborhood park on 7.49 acres.
These subareas are comprised of the Vanden Estates project. The specific plan allows for a total of 209 residential units in these subareas.
This subarea is comprised of the Parkside at Vanden Meadows project. The specific plan allows for 50 residential units in this subarea.
These subareas consist of the Villages at Vanden Meadows project. The specific plan allows for 463 residential units in these subareas.
These subareas consist of the Foxboro Knoll project. The specific plan allows for 57 residential units in these subareas.
This subarea will consist of the future park. This park will be constructed as part of the Vanden Estates project.
This subarea will be home to new school(s) for the Travis Unified School District. It is up to the school district to determine when said new school(s) will be constructed.
This subarea will be home to a detention basin.
This subarea will be used for trails, landscaping, and as an agricultural buffer.
