Nut Tree mAster Plan
Description
The Nut Tree Master Plan aims to redevelop the old Nut Tree site into a family-friendly retail plaza. The plan is split into eight distinct phases:
Phase One - Retail
Phase One constructed 331,000 square feet of retail and office space on 29.82 acres.
Current Status
Construction completed in 2009 and was sold to Dunhill Partners in 2012.
Phase Two - Nut Tree Plaza
Phase Two built a 1.78 acre amusement park located in the main square of Nut Tree Plaza.
Current Status
Construction completed in 2009 and was sold to Dunhill Partners in 2012.
Phase Three - Harbison Event Center
Phase Three built a 3.21 acre event center and museum.
Current Status
Construction completed in 2011 and was sold to the City of Vacaville in the same year.
Phase Four - More Retail
Phase Four built 340,463 square feet of retail space on 3.42 acres.
Current Status
Construction completed in 2013 and was sold to Dunhill Partners in 2014.
Phase Five - Even More Retail
Phase Five built 23,242 square feet of retail space on 3.15 acres.
Current Status
Construction completed in 2014.
Phase Six - Some More Retail
Phase Six built 42,616 square feet of retail space on 5.50 acres.
Current Status
Construction completed in 2015.
Phase Seven - Nut Tree Apartments
Phase Seven aims to build 216 housing units on 12.01 acres, also known as the Nut Tree Residential Apartments project. Construction is expected to begin and complete by 2020.
The project would have nine three-story buildings and a clubhouse building. Included in the facility are a pool, recreation area, bocce court, 20 storage units, and 449 parking spaces.

Phase Eight - Nut Tree Business Park
Phase Eight aims to build 176,392 square feet of light warehousing and manufacturing space on 10.73 acres.
Current Status
Construction is expected to begin and complete by 2020.
