The 1720 West Texas Mixed Use Development, as its name suggests, is a proposed mixed-use project to be located on West Texas Street within the Heart of Fairfield Specific Plan. The project would demolish the existing 5,850 square foot building and replace it with two new four-story buildings.
This project was approved by the Planning Commission during their 23 October 2019 meeting.
Building A would have 36 apartment units, with parking available on the first floor. The second floor would contain a 2,577 square feet courtyard in the middle of the building. All three upper floors will have residential units, each containing a balcony. The residential units are broken up as follows:
Similar to Building A, Building B will also have 23 residential units on the second, third, and fourth floors surrounding a 2,285 square feet courtyard. Like before, all the units will have balconies, and are separated into four types:
Building B will have parking on the ground floor; however, a 656 square feet cafe will also occupy the ground floor.
