Homestead is the proposed development of 1168 single-family homes, of which 274 will be age-restricted to those older than 55. The project will also provide new commercial spaces, 31 acres of open park space, and a new fire station.
This project is located within the Southwest Dixon Specific Plan.
During their 12 May 2020 meeting, the Planning Commission approved the model home designs for Phase 1 Village 3B.
During their 30 April 2019 meeting, the Planning Commission recommended that the City Council approve a restated development agreement and the vesting tentative maps for Phase 1 Village 2 and Village 3.
During their 14 May 2019 meeting, the City Council approved the restated development agreement and the vesting tentative maps for Phase 1 Village 2 and Village 3.
During their 10 December 2019 meeting, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the Phase 2A and Phase 2B tentative subdivision maps. The City Council approved the maps during their 21 January 2020 meeting.
Phase 1 Village 1 and Village 3a were approved by the Planning Commission during their meeting on 14 January 2020. Site work is expected to end in Spring 2020, with home construction starting after.
Village 1 will be developed by DR Horton and will construct 85 new low-density single-family homes.
Village 2 would build 52 new single-family homes on 19.2 acres.
Village 3 would construct 206 new single-family homes and a neighborhood park.
Village 3A will be developed by KB Homes and will construct 71 new low-density single-family homes.
Village 3B will be developed by KB Homes and will construct 88 new low-density single-family homes.
Village 4 would build 60 new single-family homes on 20 acres.
Phase 2A would construct 259 new single family residences and 10 acres of commercial space. The Planning Commission would need to approve a Design Review before construction.
Phase 2B would construct 128 new single-family homes and 13 acres of commercial space. The Planning Commission would need to approve a Design Review before construction.
Phase 3 would construct 187 new homes.
Phase 4 would construct 229 new homes and a 20 acre community park.
Phase 5 would construct three acres of new commercial space and 42 acres of new office/industrial space.
