born into a military family, walker was introduced to the culture, the lifestyle, from birth. his dad's stints at bases or time deployed were what walker had leaned to be normal, so it was no real surprise when he enlisted after high school. always wanting to help, he trained to be a combat medic, healing people in the field, the people he saw as heroes, taking care of them, making sure everyone around him could get home.
that starry-eyed dream of his came to an end after a few years, though, with walker leaving the military after one too many gunshots in his ears, patients lost, moments where he just didn't know what to do. leaving it left him, like a lot of people, without much of a sense of self, so after his discharge, he did the first thing he thought of: got a bike and hit the road to try to fix that, to find himself again.
this led him to ajo, arizona, where he joined a local motorcycle club, the medusas, as their tail gunner, their medic. it's given him the freedom that he's needed to rediscover the parts of him he had long since lost, and help people along the way.
