The Journey From The Beginning


Sofia started singing at the age of 4. She won a radio competition while singing live on air in a radio show in Greece at the age of 14.

Sofia has been working with renowned voice coaches in Greece, South Africa and the USA since early age.

Sofia has a melodic and an angelic Soprano voice, with a rich tone and depth of emotion that travels anyone to a magical universe listening to her. 

She has been trained in classical singing at the Athens Conservatory where the great Maria Callas studied voice as well and has also contemporary singing studies at Nakas Music School in Athens affiliated with the Berklee College of Music in Boston. She also received musical theater training at the Actors' Center at the Nelson Mandela Theater in South Africa. Her private tutors include Celebrity coaches Seth Riggs, who coached Michael Jackson, Madonna, Ray Charles, Josh Groban. Jeannie Deva who has worked with Pink, Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Shania Twain, Leads in Broadway’s The Lion King, Rent and Wicked. Endorsed by producers and engineers for Aerosmith, Elton John, Bette Midler. Raven Kane (coach of  Dakota Fanning, Julliet Simms, Kerri Kasem, Susanna Barbery), vocal coach Roger Barnley (Macy Grey, Brandy, Ray J.), Ken Tamplin, Maria Struve and the Great Greek Soprano Martha Arapi. Additionally Sofia has participated in countless music seminars and industry workshops held by Chick Corea, Stanley Clark, Mark Isham, Duncan Lorien, Jeannie Deva, and the International Artists’ Convention hosted by David Campbell, Raven Kane and Billy Sheehan.

Sofia has appeared at TV Show "Here is your Chance" in Greece performing a Portuguese fado and folk song which was her first experimentation with New Age Music in a language she did not even speak.

At the same time she was asked to model, and was part of top National Modeling Agency Christy in Athens, and won the National Competition Top Model of the Year, earning the Best Body of Greece title.

She continued with Next Models in Johannesburg South Africa and then joining the John Casablancas Modeling and Acting center in Los Angeles, where Cameron Diaz, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bündchen were coached, and she took part in multiple fashion shows for Designers such as Alexis Monsanto with his Latin Factory Runway Shows, Eric Tibush with his French Couture High Fashion Shows and Ravi Bajaj in his traditional Indian Saris Shows. In 2008 she was one of the Hostesses for the 'Night of 100 Stars' Oscars Gala in Los Angeles California.

She has acted in a Nedbank commercial in South Africa and in the Corporate film for Toastmasters International in Los Angeles at the short Dr Awkward and Love Stinks and she has appeared in a featured role in Entourage. 

She has also participated as a voice over artist at the short film Them Greeks.

Sofia as a singer has participated at many Charity and Fundraising Events such as the Orthodox Easter Hymns to help raise funds for underprivileged students and help build an old age home in Johannesburg South Africa. She was one of the singers of the Orchestra of Eclectic Greek Music of South Africa.

Sofia was also the Soloist Soprano at the Saint Sophia Cathedral in Los Angeles upon her arrival to the US

Then she participated at the Opening Event for the Youth for Human Rights World Tour in Washington DC and its Completion in Los Angeles representing her country Greece and spreading awareness on human trafficking globally. 

In 2012 she participated at the Variety Show at the International Artist Convention in the Caribbean.

Sofia participated at the Opening Ceremony for the Writers and Illustrators of the Future Awards for 2012 and 2014 at the Historic Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles, singing Hail along side the Phantom of the Opera Broadway Star James Barbour, radio personality and performer Kerri Kasem, actress and singer Alyssa Suede. The music for the Awards was created by multiple Awards music arranger, composer and conductor David Campbell and his wife, singer - songwriter Raven Kane which was also recorded at the Mad Hatter Studios. Sofia participated in that recording sharing her vocals. In 2014 she performed Off the Ground along side Disney singer and actor Drew Seely and Music created by Brandon Slavinski and Josh Skinner.

Sofia had the honor to take part at Grammy winning conductor’s Eric Whitacre’s Virtual Choirs Waternight (2012) and Fly to Paradise (2013) Masterpieces. She also participated in his Musical project for NASA Deep Field The Impossible Magnitude of our Universe (2019) and in the beautiful song he created during the heavy lock-downs, Sing Gently (2020). Sofia won the StudioVox competition captured doing what she loves the most – singing! Sofia has given live shows around LA in historic clubs such as the Crocker Club in Downtown LA and the Vaucluse Lounge on Sunset, former home to Janis Joplin and Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Stevie Wonder. Sofia also performed at the screening of the film Zorbas at the Crisell Global Productions 3rd International Film Festival performing songs of legend Greek Composer Mikis Theodorakis. Sofia has worked and recorded with Composers/ Producers such as multiple Grammy winner David Campbell, Grammy nominated Producer and Songwriter Nico the Owl aka Nicolas Farmakalidis (Neila Productions), Aris Archontis and Renato Sebastiani.

Sofia has a career in her home country Greece as well, where she often travels. At the time Sofia came under the same management as the Orchestra of the world known composer and great humanitarian Mikis Theodorakis by the Orchestra’s manager and producer, Peggy Lagiou, who partnered her with renown musician, composer Maro Theodorakis to perform Mikis Theodorakis’ songs and those of other great composers at historic music venues in Athens, such as the Magic Flute. Sofia on voice, and Maro Theodorakis on piano and voice. Sofia is currently recording an Album with the songs of legendary Mikis Theodorakis.

When the European financial crisis began in 2012 Sofia took it upon her to contribute and help her country in any way she could. Through her music connections she worked with US and Greek financial experts and provided economic research to economists and Opinion Leaders in Greece to assist with the economic issues the country was facing. She then gave an economic lecture in a conference of European Economists which was acknowledged by several attendees for the innovative concepts she introduced to them. This ended up becoming a strong humanitarian activity which resulted in national TV coverage on the topic and which also activated opinion leaders getting involved in solving problems for Greek families.

In 2015 Sofia got involved closely with the Charity Carry the Future helping displaced refugee families impacted by the Syrian Crisis. She became the East Coast Spokesperson for that Campaign and after an interview she gave at a TV Show on National Television in Greece, an army of volunteers was created assisting families in an organized movement since 2015 till today. This experience inspired her to write the Music and Lyrics of a song about Human Rights which she recorded in Prague, Czech Republic with Czech Rapper Marcus Caleta known as Revolta.

Sofia is as much of a Humanitarian Activist if not more than an Artist. Marrying the two has always been her objective.

Sofia is also the Lead Soprano of the Clearwater Choir and has performed and recorded in the Choir for endless events, celebrations and humanitarian causes in Florida such as Interfaith Coalition Events uniting people and leaders from many faiths working together to offer solutions to the community.

She has also mesmerized her audiences as a Soloist performing for Banquets, Weddings, Naming Ceremonies, Memorials and special events such as Human Rights Events organized by BB King’s grandson Christopher King, President of the Florida Human Rights Organization.

She also was the opening act with the choir for a Scottish themed Fundraiser where they performed in Gaelic. One of Sofia'a talents is to sing in any language, even if she does not speak the language. She has performed in Greek, German, English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Gaelic and even Elvish - the imaginary language Tolkien created - when she performs songs from Lord of the Rings.

She has participated in monthly Tree House Events in LA and Beach House Events in Clearwater since 2014, an initiative to support the Arts and Artists nationwide created by Alex Wisner.

In 2019 she performed at the International PR Convention in the Caribbean and in Cartagena, Colombia which took place on a Cruise Ships.

In 2019 she sang as the Lead Soprano with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Puebla Mexico for the Inauguration of a beautiful Historic Building whose attendees included political officials and leaders of the country.

In 2020 she sang for a Fundraising Event in Vancouver Canada, a Rock Opera song, whose proceeds went all to Charity. 

In 2021 Sofia recorded also her first Latin single created and performed originally by the great Simon Diaz from Venezuela that later Grammy Winner Natalia Lafurcade brought back to audiences. Sofia gives her own character to the song adding a Greek element to its sound. The goal was to raise awareness and send support to Venezuelans midst the economic and social crisis the country is undergoing. The recording was done at Cleartrack Studios where Chick Corea, David Foster, John Legend, Michael Bubble and Joe Bonamassa recorded as well. 

Sofia continued singing, recording and volunteering the years of the Pandemic. She additionally created a Campaign to uplift people from the effects of lock downs reminding them how therapeutic Art is in difficult times and empowering them to "create".

She then co-wrote and sang the Soundtrack for TV Series United Tribes shot in the beautiful Florida Keys in 2021 with each episode uncovering stories of resilience, unity and triumph across cultures. She worked with 7 times Grammy winner Audio Engineer Genius Buck Snow on the Soundtrack of the TV Series. She also participated in a Documentary called the Keys to Paradise focusing on the beautiful balance between man, nature and community. She worked in both, the TV Series and Documentary, with extraordaire award winning filmmaker Román Jáquez. She is very proud of this collaboration as it creates a positive impact in humanity and nature.

Sofia also recently flew to Hamburg Germany to collaborate with Composer Frank Fischer on his Concert Series and Film Score Music Series.

Sofia performs frequently in Gala's and Cultural Events in the Greek Community in the USA where the audinces have received her with great enthusiasm. An article was just published in a New York Newspaper called National Proclaimer announcing her as "the next upcoming big Star". Her Greek Album is set to be released in September.

Sofa is currently recording full time, working on a project for Soundtracks for films.
Scores for film is where her greatest passion lies, adding emotion to the film with her vocals along together with orchestras.

Sofia is an Ambassador and the President of a Non Profit Organization called Reverse the Crisis in her country Greece, where she successfully spearheaded the campaign during the European financial Crisis, among other humanitarian campaigns with cooperation of Opinion Leaders in order to bring calm and hope back into the country. The combination of Art and the intention behind the positive message of her campaigns was successful and created an impact in people's lives. During those times she collaborated with Opinion Leaders from all sectors, from the field of the Arts to the field of Business, Politics and Charity who spread the message of hope to the people of Greece through our campaigns and patriotic movement.

Sofia's voice has been compared to Celine Dion, Loreena McKennitt, Sara McLachlan, Sarah Brightman and Enya and her singing can be said to be part of the Adult Contemporary Genre, New Age and World Music.

Sofia is not just an Artist and has always been involved, one way or another, either through work, activism or volunteering into a cause and into making a difference. Her dream is to marry art with a cause in order to help contribute and inspire this into being a better world.


In fact she believes that this is the role of an Artist.
