Society Resident (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed
to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what

choices and rights available to you when you use our application.

as for nearby society discovery and location-relevant features

- Note: We do not store sensitive card details (such as full card number/CVV).
Payments are handled by secure third-party payment providers.

flows)
- Enable communication between society admins, residents, and gatekeepers
- Manage complaints, announcements, maintenance, bookings, and community
workflows

selecting nearby societies and improving address-related experiences)
- Use camera/photo access for features such as QR scanning, profile images,
complaint evidence uploads, and ID proof uploads
- Process subscriptions and maintenance/billing workflows
- Send service, transactional, and security-related notifications
- Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and fraud-prevention obligations
## 3. Legal Basis / Consent
Where required by applicable law (including GDPR), we process personal data on

- Members can access their own data and society-shared data available to
members.
- Gatekeepers/Security users can access data necessary for visitor and
security operations.
We apply role-based controls to reduce unauthorized access.
## 5. Third-Party Processing and Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information.
We may share/process data only as necessary with trusted service providers and
infrastructure partners, including:
- Google Firebase services (as enabled in the app), such as:
- Firebase Authentication
- Cloud Firestore
- Firebase Storage
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Firebase Crashlytics / related diagnostics services
- Secure payment processing providers for subscription/maintenance payment
workflows
- Service providers supporting app delivery, security, and operations
- Government/regulatory/law-enforcement authorities where required by law or
legal process
- Parties needed to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity
These providers process information under their own terms and applicable law.
## 6. Permissions and Just-in-Time Notices
The app may request permissions such as camera, photo/media access,
microphone/audio, and location.
Where feasible, we provide an in-app explanation before the system permission
prompt appears, explaining why that access is needed at that time.
You can deny permissions, but some features may not function fully.
