The Social Interaction Lab. at CCU studies how people interact with each other. Our lab. is equipped with a variety of automated tools (video analysis software for facial expressions and bodily movements, motion capture systems, etc.), which lead to solid findings on our social interaction.

With automated-coding techniques, the convergence of timing and rhythm in the interactant's nonverbal behavior is captured.
Computers can "see" human facial expressions even in milliseconds, which can be an insight into our emotions and personality.
